This is basicly just a thread for various ideas of cards that you would want wizards to print, so you can add the card to your cube. What cards do you think's needed to improve cubing? What way do you want wizards to bring the game? More good red low cc creatures, more MBC cards, or something else.
Any idea's posted in this thread is owned by the cube forum, and can be used by anyone anyway they want.
The first card is just a little more expensive sol ring which is still good. The 2nd looks like Mind Stone
I've yet to see someone put custom cards in their cube but I think it should be done. I have a hard time because a lot of my friends won't be happy. Just make some red cards wizard, my red (and a lot of other people's) aren't that good.

Tap Moon Ring to add 2 to your mana pool.

The first card is super overpowered and the second card is pretty close to Mind Stone.
If I had a choice of what to see printed there are a few things.
#1 More good one mana creatures
#2 More good LD
#3 More good, cheap discard
#4 Another good 2cmc counter spell
#5 More cheap white spells that exile creatures
Harm's Way is a good example. Like all the best ideas it seems obvious afterwards, but it has enough applications to be interesting, despite being mechanically very straightforward.

I am petitioning for the end of: the Mythic rarity, the Planeswalker card type, the post-8th edition card faces, the 2010 rule changes, colorless cards that aren't artifacts or lands, the Legendary supertype, the stack, auras, multicolor cards, artifact creatures, tokens, goblins, merfolk, elves, sorceries, instants, and permanents. Basically, I just want to play with purple contraptions.

Obviously creatures have it pretty good right now. Still, I'd like to see mono-green get some more really efficient standouts. It feels like a while since we've had a Blastoderm or Phantom Centaur.
There are always cards that I think would be worthy if they were a bit different. Like if they had a lower casting cost, or it were a nicer power/toughness or if it had flying or just things like that. I don't do a lot of card creation in my head, other than altering existing cards to make them better. Like this morning I was thinking about Wayfarer's Bauble and it if looked more like this I'd probably like it a lot more.

Giving it a little further thought - I also wish there were better artifact creatures at uncommon. I realize that this is probably pretty tough because you don't want to print something that every deck in standard runs.

That doesn't seem too powerful to me even with combat damage on the stack. Every color gets a 2C 2/2 creature with an ETB ability that destroys something or gets CA these days. It would see wide play but I wouldn't fear it being too good.

I also love the White Tinker. Especially with more and more good cheap white enchantments beeing printed.

Don't think this would be printed, because it for many would lead to unfun gamesituations. It poses an interesting problem though. Would you play it early or save it to turn 4?
What about an universal aggrocreature, that would fit all aggro-decks?

That would be too good I think. It would have to deal twice X damage to you for them to print something like that. However, I would really love a colorless aggro creature that could go in anything.

Dunno about the balance, but it's not like these are getting printed anyway.
Simple design, great card that are balanced correctly according to manacost. This could see print when Wizards decide to give blue control a chance again.

An alternate version of Wasteland - I like it. But I think it unfortunatly would be too powerful in legacy to see print. But maybe I'm wrong.

These two are awesome. If the LD guy had evoke of 1RR, it may be more likely to be made. The corpse would have to be a 2/1 to see print, I think... but either way these two cards are sweet.

Destroy all creatures. They can't be regenerated. Look at the top four cards of your library. Put one of those cards into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.
The blue wall is probably too good, but I'd love to see it still. What I really want is a blue Wall of Blossoms. I'd be fine with that.
The Wrath I could envision being printed though. It's the same cost/benefit mindset they used when making Prophetic Bolt. Shave off 1 from the total cost of the combined cards (that one was Lightning Blast + Impulse at the time) in exchange for it being a 2-color card. It keeps the more restrictive sorcery-speed of the two cards. It would be really good, but it's still inside design parameters.

That was possible only because Lightning Blast is so underpowered and overcosted, which is not the case with Wrath of God. If you compare Prophetic Bolt to the modern burn staple, you pay 3U for an Impulse and one more damage. Wrath OTOH was too powerful, to the point they have replaced it by a strictly weaker card now.

Yeah, I think this could be a natural replacement for Viridian Shaman.
