I have the Rook Endura Deluxe case, which holds 1500 sleeved cards. It is divided into four sections, but there is a small gap at the ends of the built-in dividers, which, unfortunately, allows cards to slip between sections. I solved this problem by putting my cards into deck boxes and then into the case, which fits nicely and is also a good way to organize things like token cards, basic lands, and even casual decks. If I could go back and do it again, I'd probably just purchase the 750-size one and not have to deal with the extra bulk or the funky dividers.
Yeah this is why I hate my rook case I have this same size can't comment on the smaller ones.
where do you put your lands? I think that at ~450 cards with 150 basic lands, I dont think everything will fit, especially when I put in the tokens and such. with the medium one be big enough for me?

the descriptions are pretty accurate on the rook website. Whatever how many sleeved cards will fit into whatever they ahve described for each rook case. if says it will fit 750, it fits 750. (probably a tad more since u can just squeeze stuff in)
I use a Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac wooden case to hold my cube of ~500 cards. Perfect fit with a little breathing room, but i have to keep the land in a small cardboard box. It looks super sweet though when i bring it out =) Sleeves are just the cheap ultrapro red sleeves.
i just picked up some perfect fits and kmc matte blue sleeves. i can't get a card to fit into the sleeve with the perfect fit on for the life of me. they fit fine into ultra pros and every other sleeve i have.
any tips? (i have the card going upside down into the perfect fit, then the normal way into the sleeve.)

I just recently had to do this 600 times or so I'll do my best to help. The biggest pita portion of putting them together is if your perfect fit sleeve has been used several times as it will trap air better thus creating an air pocket when you sleeve the perfect fit sleeved card into the kmc sleeve. The air pocket pushes the perfect fit sleeve up just a smidge which makes it stick out of the kmc sleeve. To remedy the situations if you hold one end of the kmc sleeve open and put the perfect fit sleeved card on the other end and slowly slide it down you'll avoid this as no air will get trapped.
However, in certain situations based on the cut of the kmc sleeve (slightly tighter than usual) it can be very frustrating. I did most cards without any hassle, however, I had to redo my volcanic island sleeve like 10 times as the perfect fit sleeve was loose making it trap air really easily.

I have the same setup - perfect fits and KMC matte black sleeves. I can't get the perfect fits to go inside the sleeves. I have to sort of wiggle the card back and forth to get it down into the sleeve, but it seems like the last 1/4", the perfect fit gets stuck in the sleeve, and the card winds up sliding down to rest on the bottom of the sleeve, hanging out of the perfect fit by 1/8", and the perfect fit hanging out of the top of the sleeve. I've tried numerous times, with sleeves from different packages, no luck. I finally gave up tonight, and started sleeving into the KMC sleeves, without perfect fits.

That's weird because those are the exact same sleeves I use (matt black KMC + perfect fit). I have had absolutely no problems getting them in there.
Antknee42 wrote a how-to (with pictures!) on perfect fits over at the SCG forums. Check it out here, I think it is very helpful!
Thanks for the link to the how-to. I was expecting some kind of "trick" that I could try, but that's not really different from how I'm trying. My biggest problem is that when the perfect fit gets partway down into the sleeve, it gets caught up on one of the sides of the sleeve, and gets stuck. I have to wiggle it back the other way to get it to slide more. I wind up having to wiggle it back and forth, until it's so far down into the sleeve, that it just won't go any further. If I try to force it, the card itself slips out of the perfect fit and comes to rest at the bottom of the KMC sleeve.
It's very frustrating. Maybe I have a bad pack of perfect fits? I can try opening up another pack. Or maybe it's too humid here in Texas? (not kidding, maybe this is a problem?)
Try sliding the perfect fit into a different kind of sleeve. If it fits into those sleeves, the kmc mattes are bad. If it doesn't, the perfect fits are bad. But if the perfect fits are off, you should be able to tell. They're tight as can be. If they slide around inside the perfect fit at all, the fits are the bad sleeves.

Good idea. The cards slide into the perfect fit very snugly - it doesn't seem like they're a problem. I'll try the perfect fits into some Ultra Pros tonight and see if that works.
Review: While the sleeves themselves are durable, easy to shuffle, and protect the cards perfectly, they are also prone to displaying dirt and grime very vividly. The front of the mattes takes the oil from my skin when i tap them, so that fingerprints and spots that only go away when you rub it with a lint free cloth appear. They are a hassle to clean, expensive to replace, and get dirty again very quickly. Still, they do a perfect job keeping wear off the delicate real, minty library, drain, and maybe someday power. Even if you hard shuffle alot and compress them.
Current Storage: Hand decorated 2 row cardboard box.
Future Storage: I have commissioned, and am waiting for the completion of, a custom rosewood box with differentiated compartments for the basic land labelled with mana symbols, a differentiated compartment for dice, and archenemy scheme cards, parallel to a row of 24 mini-compartments for the packs, and a row for the actual cardpool, which I asked to have a precision adjustable length via a sliding divider. It will have a hinged lid, clasp, and brass handles. Ill post pics when I get it.

More people should post the cons about their sleeves of choice. I love my KMC Super Black sleeves, but I've found that they show wear pretty quickly. They get scratched from tiny minuscule debris on the table and because they're black, they show it like crazy. Skin oil also shows prominently on the backs. And after a long while of shuffling (4-6 months) and regular play the tops of the sleeves begin to get "wavy".
I love KMC sleeves though, because they are freakin' durable. The obvious wear and tear happens and my choice of black makes it a little more aesthetically displeasing, but KMC's are excellent sleeve choices.

That future box sounds ridiculously awesome. You should definitely post pics when you get it.
I personally use KMC Perfect Fits inside of Dragon Shields. They have been working really well for me, and I have only had 1 Dragon Shield rip in the past 3 years that I have been using them also.

I need to purchase new sleeves for my C/U cube fairly soon. Have you really been cubing with the same Dragon Shields for three years? Or have you just been sticking with that brand for three years? I've bought a lot of sleeves over the years and I can say that the ones that have held up the best since I bought them forever ago are the one box of Dragon Shields that I bought. I'm definitely considering getting this brand when I buy. If for nothing else, then to at least have a variety and to get a feel for a different sleeve.
I've been using Dragonshields for the last year. I've had to replace ~3 sleeves since I started using them. They work really well. Sadly they are a bit pricey to sleeve a cube with.
I just got enough Perfect sleeves to sleeve my cube (great christmas gift btw). Right now the sleeves slip around all over the place. I'm assuming it's because there is air in the sleeve. Does this go away?

I'll second that. It will go away with time. After a month or so of drafting (maybe less?) it'll just be like a thicker regular sleeve. But when they're fresh sleeves and fresh PFs, I was like Holy crap! Big air bubbles and cards slipping all over the place. Yes, that goes away.
Hasn't been an issue for me yet.

Just ask a store around you for a bulk discount on buying that many sleeves.
I store the cube in a plain white 1k count box and another 1k box with land, tokens, and my groups EDH decks.
We just bought about 1.2k Player's Choice white sleeves for ~90 dollars.
