What card that currently isn't good enough for your cube would become good enough if it was in a different color?
What's the #1 card you'd play if it were colorshifted into another color (or combination of colors) that currently misses the cut in your cube because it doesn't mesh with its current color's roles?
Right now, mine would be:
Sigarda, Senate Guardian2UWW
Legendary Creature - Angel
Flying, hexproof
Spells and abilities your opponents control can't cause you to sacrifice permanents.

Snapcaster Mage being red. Because it should never have been blue in the first place.
Grim Snapcaster 1R
Flash
When Grim Snapcaster enters the battlefield, target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to its mana cost. (You may cast that card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)

I mean, hell, we're all on a forum for something that most people would describe as a "children's card game"...do what makes you happy. You are never too old to enjoy yourself.
What's the #1 card you'd play if it were colorshifted into another color (or combination of colors) that currently misses the cut in your cube because it doesn't mesh with its current color's roles?
Of course all of those cards would be awesome, but they don't really address the information I was looking for here.
Cards that would become cubeworthy if they were different colors.

Search your library for up to four cards with different names and reveal them. Target opponent chooses two of those cards. Put the chosen cards into your graveyard and the rest into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
This one would be interesting too:
Abyssal Wretch3BB
Creature - Demon
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may choose a card type. If you do, each player sacrifices a permanent of that type.
4/4
Some cards I'd probably peasant cube with a colorshift.
Ember Wall - R
Creature - Wall
Defender (This creature can't attack.)
Sacrifice Ember Wall: Add RR to your mana pool. R, Sacrifice Ember Wall: Tinder Wall deals 2 damage to target creature it's blocking.
0/3
Legionnaire's Anthem - 2WR
Enchantment
Each attacking creature you control gets +1/+0 and can't be blocked except by two or more creatures.
Ballista Volley - 1W
Ballista Volley deals 3 damage to target attacking or blocking creature.
Flashback 3R (You may cast this card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)
Abyssal Wretch
Creature - Demon
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may choose a card type. If you do, each player sacrifices a permanent of that type.

I don't know if wotc would give black enchantment destruction.

There's nothing in your on-deck binder that you'd play if it were colorshifted? That seems odd.
There aren't any cards right now that
A) I don't already run in their respective color
B) I would include if they were colorshifted into a new color
C) would make sense in their new color
in my reserve box. And those were the rules that you set for this thought experiment, if I understood you correctly.
So, while I immediately thought of a red Thought Courier, it doesn't count because I am already running the original in blue. Black Gifts Ungiven would be sweet, too, but again, I am already running the blue one.
Nope, because it is a blue aggro card. It just doesn't fit into my cube, since blue is the only strict non-aggro color there. I would find room for it if it where green-white though.
White Opposition (doesn't really fit in green, but white can tap creatures and artifacts) and white Rising Waters (white already has Hokori Dust Drinker) would be pretty sweet!

Also, a red Isamaru. I know, it's not creative or fancy. But I would SO love a red Isamaru. Blue Welder would also be sweet. Auto-include at 360 fo sheeze!

the 4/4 angel token would have been awkward in green, but with some other token i agree.
I've always thought stifle effects should have been in green.

The flying Angel comes from the white part of the card (while hexproof comes from the green part).
I approve of this! A second Damnation would be really cool and would help black tremendously as a control color.

That's a lot harder, then. The only card that was suggest so far that fits this criteria in my cube is Sigarda.
Anyways, here's some.
Opposition shifted to white or green.
Mana Vortex shifted to Red or White or Black
Sunder shifted to Green
Land Equilibrium shifted to Red or White or Black
Rising Water shifted to Green.

It would probably be templated differently. Artifact, Creature, Land or Planeswalker would be fine.
It counts, just not for you.

I'd probably run a blue or black Goblin Welder. I'd love Armada Wurm if it was monogreen.

Monogreen Armada Wurm is a brillant idea. That opens up something in my mind, as well.
Monoblack Sire of Insanity and mono red Spike Jester would both be wicked as well.

White Opposition and Blue Goblin Welder were the two cards that first popped into my mind when I opened this thread. Maybe also a Green Sneak Attack.
How much should we be constrained by the modern colour pie? Can I have a Green Upheaval?

The problem with that is that red already has a number of great 4-drops. I'm not sure a red Hokori makes the cut.

I would be willing to give it a try over Avalance Riders. I like Riders just fine, but I would put it 5th as far as 4 drops are concerned.
