After some musing about the prevalence of posts about non-Cube formats in SCD threads (primarily related to recently spoiled cards), we've decided that moving forward, posts that are clearly not related to the Cube format in SCD threads will be removed. A few things:
-I will be going through the existing Origins threads currently in Cube New Card Discussion and remove offending posts
-I will not be going through any existing threads that are from a set before Origins
-If you see a post that is discussing another format, please report it, so that it's easier for the Cube mods to find. Please use the "Wrong Forum" option so it's clear why the post is being reported.
-If it's unclear whether or not a post should be removed, we'll probably err on the side of leaving it where it is.
-Please don't use report tangents that occur over the course of discussion this way. If a tangential post is an actual issue, report it as you otherwise would, and we'll review it as usual.
This means that you all won't have to constantly flag each thread with [CUBE], since it should be clear that you're discussing it in the context of the format that you're visiting or do any other creative stuff to designate this.
If anyone has any comments or concerns, let me know.
