So I've been toying for a while with the idea of a cube centered around making draft matters cards very common, so they're getting revealed all the time during the draft and it makes the draft chaotic and crazy while still being an interesting format. Sort of the un-set of cubes. The thing about draft matters cards is that they encourage you to play multiple copies of the same cards (whether it be of the draft matters card, or of what it names) So a cube based around multiple copies of cards sounds interesting and the way to go. Naturally such a cube inclines you to play conspiracies, so why not make things more chaotic by including multiple copies of several conspiracies.
You can see how these things spiral downward. Now, as I see it there are a two main ways to handle cubes with multiples of cards. You can play it straight and just put multiples in the cube and players are encouraged to draft them, or you can signify that certain cards will give you multiples (for example, drafting one squadron hawk may get you four copies) with a sticker or other indicator on the sleeve telling you so. I've tried neither, so I'm very interested to see if anyone has some input on which approach works better.
As for basic cube composition, I'm not sure about that either. Cards that are good in multiples certainly, but there'/ many of those cards and I'm not sure what's worth running and how to balance colors. Thoughts?

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
I don't post on this website ever, but I saw this thread and had to respond.
I had the exact same idea for this type of cube a while back but gave it up because of the logistics. It was a partially-custom cube with 420 cards. I designed a handful of cards which interacted with your sideboard, the undrafted cards still in the box, and adding cards to your opponents hand, graveyard and battlefield which were detrimental. I made use of several Conspiracy mechanics and expanded them. I finally gave up when I realized that the draft was all I was focused on and lost sight of the gameplay mechanics. I may revisit it someday to see if I can salvage the best parts into something playable, but I don't foresee that any time soon.
