Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.

ExpiredRascals you sir are a god-like hero.

ER is a masterful god who cannot be beaten in any endeavour.
Lightning Helix is the most powerful card, but it's also the most restrictive. (Last night I had my Precursor Golem hit with a Lightning Helix in a game--ouch!) Boros Aggro looks very open, as you say. I will bet the Lions will wheel, given what we've seen. So, I'd say either Blinkmoth Nexus or Lightning Helix, tending towards the Helix.
Call of the Herd is a perfectly fine midrange card. Nothing amazing, but not bad. Not enough to pull us into green, though.
I don't like blinkmoth here only because it doesn't play well with winter orb.
If we really wanted to push aggro I'd consider the lion, but in this cube I think I like Lightning Helix for our pick too.
FWIW my second choice would probably be the crucible hoping for a wheel on the goblin trenches, and some LD to come.

Every stripe of aggro is open. Blinkmoth leaves us the most open. Lions is probably wrong, but feels like the best card in an open archetype.
How good is call of the herd?
