Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.

Well, we have the slow Sol Ring, now we can get the slow Mox Ruby! We can have the classic busted powered cube start, just on Turn 4!
More seriously, there's not a lot for us here, but Brimstone Volley is perfectly servicable. If we play more aggro, our creatures will be dying. I run it in my cube, and it's a solid card.
Otherwise, Fire Diamond if we are still thinking artifacts, Burning Tree for aggro (although it's been fairly meh for me in my cube when tested), or Harrow for midrange fixing (hoping we wheel Bloodbraid Elf or Plow Under?)
I agree that brimstone volley is the pick, but I'd go much further and say that the card is one of the better pieces of burn, period. I've never cast it for three damage.
Also, it's not a dead pick if we never see the creatures we're waiting for. At this point, we have the top end and burn of an RDW or the stabilizing early game of an Rx control deck.
That said, I'm optimistic that we'll see some creatures wheel. Pack1 is when people are least interested in hating, and if you passed a savannah lions the first time, you'll probably do it again.
I really don't know either. I'd be okay with any of these:
Brimstone Volley: removal and reach always good in aggro, but we need creatures to play aggro.
Fire Diamond: almost on par with a one color signet and works with winter orb.
Burning Tree: not sure how often the ability will fire but a 3/4 for 3 is good for speedy decks
Harrow: midrange fixing that would help if we go 3 color
Beloved Chaplain: defensive creature vs aggro, and great if we can grab a sword later
To me it seems that Green is fairly open. Also, looking at the list again there really aren't many 2 power 1 drops, and R doesn't seem to be nearly as aggro as I am used to.
For now my vote goes to Burning Tree Shaman. It would be more for a R/G aggressive tempo build, hopefully get some more ramp. I don't think BBE or plow under will wheel but hopefully the call of the herd and roar of the wurm will.

I realize I got my Burning-Trees mixed up. GR aggro/mid might be a very good deck for us, if either Plow Under or BBE wheels (which is unlikely).
