@DrRuler: I agree that most of the cards you list are good or even great for cube. I also agree with you that Pyreheart Wolf does not translate that well to cube. At least in my experience, cube games tend not to stall often, but sealed games do all the time. For the same reason I think that Tragic Slip is not that good in cube, but I still hope someone tests it because it certainly has potential. Also, Havengul Lich is a good card, but not really needed in smaller cubes imho because I think most UB decks prefer a more resilient finisher.
Pyreheart Wolf was AWESOME for me today. x-0d my prerelease with g/r, all dudes and burn. Wolf was very nice at creating awkward situations for my opponent.

Agree with everything here and was going to make the exact same points.
I managed to grab a copy of Dungeon Geists and throw it in (just put it in one of the packs) the cube for testing. I think that he is pretty impressive creature. It's decent body with evasion for the mana. It's kind of like Mini-Frost Titan in a way. I just might keep it in and tried to take something out.
I do think there's a good chance undying is going to prove even better than commonly perceived (which is already pretty good). I'm not sure if that pushes any particular card though. Vorapede maybe (since Strangleroot is being univerally adopted it seems like)

Vorapede is already being adopted by many cubes. Basically, any cube still running Kodama of the North Tree is replacing it with Vorapede. I plan on doing the same.
I agree with your greater premise, though. Undying is a wicked strong ability and it's very possible that there's an undying creature that is cubeworthy that the forum missed.
Dungeon Geists reminds me of Somnophore. It's a 3/3 instead of a 2/2, and taps the creature right away, but the 'Phore can lock down multiple threats. Also looks like a flying blue Faceless Butcher.
That extra butt is awesome though, since it put it out of 2 damage burns. Also, tapping creature right away is a lot nicer if you're facing down creatures that cost 4+ mana.

I agree, and I also think the Geists is the better card. Just reminded me of a combination between those two cards when I saw it.
I wouldn't cube with any of the above mentioned 3 at 450 or lower, although I might cube with some combination of them at 630 and higher. I'm unsure about 540, although I think they might be too underpowered to make the cut there as well.
(The three mentioned are Dungeon Geists, Faceless Butcher, and Somnophore). [And yes, I know you're just comparing Geists to the other two, not trying to say anything about the cubability of the other two on their own].

I certainly am not considering running either 3 in my 540. Cuts are actually becoming hard up there nowadays :(, I can't even imagine what 360 guys have to go through every set!

Dungeon Geists will certainly go into my 600 cards cube. Blue is a bit lacking in its four mana creature slot. The Mini-Frost Titan comparison is quite fitting. It only works on a creature, but that is the most used type of target anyway.
I bet it was, I haven't seen one in action yet but I hope I get in some limited BW tokens fun.
I opened Beguiler of Wills, won me 2 of the 3 games I casted it. I also got some Grave Crawler and Stitcher's Apprentice action in. That was pretty fun times.
Granted, this was a regular, non-cube draft, but Hellrider is legit. Getting that extra damage in before blockers are even declared is clutch.
I also saw Strangleroot Geist in Winston draft action. Quite the headache to deal with. Great tool against control, and even getting a 2 for 1 against opposing aggro decks is pretty good.
100% agree. I opened it and Lingering Souls. No other Bomby cards, but it didn't stop me going 8-0 on the night. Only lost one game all night (against a Beguiler of Wills before I could draw removal). Having the vault out made combat and racing a joke.
I'll second that. I splashed it in a UW Skies deck and it won me the games where it showed up. These were games that would otherwise have been close or not in my favor. I may try and find space for it in my cube's land section as the multicolor section has become most difficult to get into. I'm still reluctant to include it on the basis that BW is one of the most color-intensive combinations to draft.

I think Vault and the Aristocrat are the two most criminally underrated cards from this set. I play both in my 360 and I think they'll both be there for a long while.
Have any more people play tested Vault of the Archangel? I am tempted to pick one up, but it hasn't been on many people's lists yet. Bonus question: will it fall to the $1 range like, say, Kessig War Run?

It's a rare from a small set, so yes it will, but once the new block is released it will go up in price like the WWK manlands, but those manlands might be a bad example because they were fixing and threats.

You're telling me dude. I played a 2HG sealed, where my GWb deck had Lingering Souls, Gather the Townsfolk, Geist-Honored Monk, Vault of the Archangel, Gavony Township, and Travel Preparations x 2, just to name the highlights. Regardless, we went undefeated haha. My team mate had a sick combo in Gravecrawler, Skirsdag Cultist, and Diregraf Captain as well, which won a stalemate we were having.
