Hey guys, I made a new cube over this weekend (My first cube) and It's made of terrible cards. The worst in all of magic. Cards like Sorrow's Path, Great Wall, Wood Elemental, Juju Bubble and Deep Water. The only problem I have found is finding sub-par multicolor cards, whether they be spells, creatures or enchantments.
They can be plain overcosted vanilla's or have abilities, it doesn't really matter. It just has to be overpriced or have overcosted abilities or just plain suck.
None of those cards are close to bad enough. I wouldn't even try to find terrible multicolour cards, as they tend not to print many at all.
The cards you have are generally okay cards that would become awesome in the environment because of such little competition, but some, like Plague Spores, are actually good draft cards.
I feel they're terrible enough, where as cards like Wooly Thoctar would be way overpowered, even at the triple mana cost. They just have to be sub-par, not complete trash.
So if you have 40 Argothian Enchantress in play, you draw 40 cards when you cast it. No such dice for Zuran Orb.
And if you have 40 Zuran Orbs, you can Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas somebody for 80 life. I'm not going to sit here and talk about "what if" scenarios. That's not what this topic is for.
Except that many of these card's aren't terrible and the good cards you compare them too aren't even the same thing half the time. Most of these cards would be perfectly fine in their respective limited formats. None of them are on par with awful stuff like wood elemental.

That may be true, but I think they fit fine within the cube. Multicolor cards are difficult to find, which is why this topic is here.

Naturally so. In a vacuum, every card has its potential uses. Even in picking the worst of the worst, you're not going to find 360 Wood Elementals - WotC just haven't printed enough truly dreadful cards for that (especially not in gold... Emberwilde Caliph and Reckless Assault are probably the only two gold cards that I'd single out as being truly horrible).
But ultimately, that's what Reject Rare Draft and other similar formats are about - realising that even the sub-optimal jank that you're drafting has its potentially game-winning uses.
The two gold goblins from The Dark are pretty awful.
Problem with any of the Legends legends is that they are all huge beatsticks even if they cost too much.
So far I only have
1 Warping Wurm
1 Llanowar Dead
1 Phantatog
1 Plague Spores
1 Lithatog
1 Squee's Revenge
1 Jasmine Boreal
1 Circle of Despair
1 Axelrod Gunnarson
1 Ayesha Tanaka
1 Dark Heart of the Wood
They can be plain overcosted vanilla's or have abilities, it doesn't really matter. It just has to be overpriced or have overcosted abilities or just plain suck.

It's also not actually that bad of a card. It's one of the best of that kind of effect printed.

Fumarole (5 mana and 3 life, when you could have done much better in the same set)
Glaciers (Conversion, only worse)
Mountain Titan (Too expensive to activate, even worse in Cube)
Storm Spirit (Would be good if you could ever get it on the table - it's in my Cube in lieu of something better, and it's never once made it out)
Lord of Tresserhorn (High cost to pay for a creature with no evasion)
Wandering Mage (Lousy damage prevention, three times over)
Winter's Night (Turns snow land upside down, and that's about it)
Discordant Spirit (Potentially big, but no evasion)
Emberwilde Caliph (The undisputed captain of crap multicolour cards!)
Sawback Manticore (Terribly sub-optimal for its casting cost)
Spatial Binding (More than likely useless!)
Suleiman's Legacy (Ditto!)
Meteor Storm (A terrible overcosted Stormbind)
Reckless Assault (I am yet to imagine a deck that uses this)
Stalking Assassin (Like Royal Assassin, except crap)
That a good start?

I like it. This will help a lot. Thanks!

Another good party trick I've heard of for tasks like this is to jump onto the mothership's Gatherer and order your results by community rating - the worst gold cards are //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?color=+^%28[W">|[U]|[B]|[R]|[G]%29&sort=rating+"]inevitably at the bottom of the pile, even if most of the fat common guys from Legends are there.
