Inspired by the "Tooth and Nail" discussion I was wondering if you guys support the good old strategy to cheat fatties into play.
I am about to experiement with giving this archetype a little more love in my cube.
I categorized the cards into four different categories, that all are a little different, and support different strategies.
Two more are Hideaway lands and Temporal Aperture. Also Proteus Staff. I am probably missing a lot more.
EDIT: Tinker!
I edited my top post, and will keep doing it with new suggestions.
Made categories as well, as Temporal Aperture and Proteus Staff fall into a little different category.
I actually never thought of Flash + Persist.
It seems nice i guess.
But i question whether it's good enough to put flash into the cube?
Flash primus is so savage.... especially with a reanimator spell just after....
My best sequence was :
End of turn : Flash primus, persist
My turn : attack + barter in blood
NExt turn : Footstep of the goryo primus
Total : 4 lands in 2 turns, playing 2 spells, not bad
There is a strong Timmy-Johnny element in my play group that likes cheating fat into play. As well as supporting reanimator a little more than most, we have Karmic Guide (and used to have Miraculous Recovery) in White, Tinker in Blue, Sneak Attack in Red. Green has a fair amount of ramping.
Have there been any more good cards to cheat fatties into play since this thread was last used?

We tried out Oath of Druids, but it suffers the same problems as other cards on this list, the decks it's good in suck without it. It might do something for this archetype though.

Yeah ok, you can argue that Flash cheats the card into play - only for a brief moment though...

Well, you are absolutely right.
But this thread don't focus on Reanimator strategies, as this is a subject that's well covered already.
See http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=153260 for instance.

With the arrival of Griselbrand, I am thinking I might finally have a superfatty (CMC>6) in each colour. Akroma, Angel of Wrath, Inkwell Leviathan, Bogardan Hellkite, and Woodfall Primus are already in there. Also Sundering Titan and Myr Battlesphere.
