Mono-Blue always interested me. The colour has a lot of depth and you become forced to read archetype signalling really well. Not to mention that cards like dandan become insane.
Mono-White is the other mono-cube with a lot of potential, simply because the colour has literally done everything at one time or another.
Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.

Anybody have experience in this? A heard of a monoblack cube that was good. Monowhite seems like it would also be good. Or red.
When I was first dabbling in cube, I was interested in making a small, grixis one, but was eventaully disuaded by arguments in this forum about hypothetical deck-archtype issues. I've still been interested in doing a predominantly black, dimir/golgari/orzhov/rakdos cube.
I'd encourage you to post a preliminary list sometime, so that people could start discussing it. I'm always on the look out for eccentric and experimental cube designs.
BTW, how large are you planning to make a "4 person" cube?
I always thought a "color cube" would be cool, where one color was over-represented. I may still do it. For me, the coolest choices would be green or black. I think green offers a lot of interesting creatures and other effects, but maybe black makes the most sense because of all the Torment cards. Plus, there are a lot of black cards that reward a heavy black commitment, like Tendrils of Corruption or Corrupt that could be interesting.

Maybe a "shard" cube. BWG might be interesting.
