Stoked for Restoration Angel. Sigarda is gonna have trouble fitting into my GW section, and I'll have to play with Thunderous Wrath before I issue a judgement on it. I'm definitely sure the Miracle border is ugly. Definitely going to get any miracles that make it into the cube altered
If you are playing the card for it's "topdeck" cost, you mustn't have drawn it as the second card of a turn or have it in your opening 7.
Without card draw/ library manipulation (which is a rarity in aggressive decks anyway), you only get to an above 50% chance of casting it for the alternative cost in the games where you see the card, when it is not in your opening hand, so you have to draw 7+ cards through your regular draw step (= >turn 7).
You are ignoring all the times where you don't draw it at all. It is only its normal version in 7/40 times, not 7/14.
That seems like a better way to look at it, at least that is how I see it.
Except if you killed the other creature, when you play another creature, you can repair it with the knight and regive them double strike
T1: Isamaru
T2: Something
T3: Souldbound Knight pair with isamaru
Opponent kills isamaru (bear with me)
T4: DOUBLE STRIKE VENGEVINE!
And if they kill the soulbound knight, it kept your other creature alive at least. Sliver Knight doesn't look to have much hope in my cube this coming update.
Yeah ok - missed that first.
Then it seems really good.
4RR is so expensive! Which the costs were split more evenly ex: 1R and 3RR. I literally laughed out loud at how silly the miracle frame looked. I hope to get one in my cube because I really enjoy having a variety of mechanics. Obviously this mechanic is costed this way to prevent Snapcaster shenanigans.
Demonlord of Ashmouth is disappointing that he cannot sacrifice himself, I think he's still good enough but not being able to cast him on an empty board is awful.
Silverblade Paladin is good. Wish he was better than a 2/2 by himself. When you cast another creature after (or before) him, he turns back on. I kind of see him as a modified aura. A really nice note is it doesn't force you to cast the creature, both Elspeths turn him on ;).

Thunderous Wrath would be so much better if it were 3RR with a Miracle cost of 1R.
I'm hoping for some better Miracle cards with closer gaps in the non-Miracle cost/effect ratio. A 3UUConcentrate with a low Miracle cost could make things pretty interesting.

Restoration Angel is going to be amazing (especially with morph).
Restoration Angel - 3W,
Creature
Flash, Flying,
When Restoration Angel enters the battlefield, you may exile target non-angel creature you control then return that creature to the battlefield under your control.
3/4
Flying blink creature with a relevant body. I could see this seeing play in some cubes.
I'm going to swap out galepowder mage for this card.
Thunderous Wrath looks pretty sick for regular limited, where it's often an upgrade over the playable Into the Maw of Hell. For cube, I think we should think about it like other cards with potential upsides, like double-faced cards. Is the card playable for it's non-Miraculous cost? Is there enough support to make the Miracle more reliable (like with Delver)? If I cast three Miracles, do I become a saint?
Thunderous Wrath seems like it's probably not going to make the cut, as 6 is just too much. There's a good theory article on ChannelFireball that talks about how the likelihood of playing a card does not increase linearly over mana cost, in other words, the difference between 5 and 6 is actually bigger than 1 to 2. Anyway, I think 6 is likely going to be too much for this to be a slam dunk.
Like Delver of Secrets, or other cards that are sick in other formats, I don't think there's quite enough support at rare for a card like this.
In peasant cubes, I think it's a different story, where the games are slower and there is about the same amount, if not more, library manipulation.
If you open with it you nearly have a free mulligan. If you're on the play you will be able to cast it for miracle every time (assuming you play turn 1 mountain). If you're on the draw it's an awful turn 1 draw. Being forced to cast it when you draw it is so terrible. Sometimes your curve is much more important, so you just want to play Koth or Hero of Oxid Ridge.
It also doesn't interact with Faithless Looting as well as I would like it to, at least you can discard it if you're not going to be casting it for a while.
Ohh, I'd been reading soulbound so wrong. Didn't realize it could re-pair with a new creature if the first partner dies. Definitely adding the paladin.
Need to think more about the Miracle burn spell not sure about it yet.

It just needs testing. It's impossible to tell until you play in my opinion.
I do hope for some cards that are good enough to make you pick a Vampiric Tutor over a Demonic Tutor (although I would certain do so in some cube decks anyways.)
Definitely gonna try the thunderous wrath. 1 mana for 5 damage is so insane. Maybe it doesn't happen often enough, but it can't hurt to try it.
The soulbound guy seems pretty good, the fact he repairs is sweet.
The 3/4 blink flash guy is powerful, but not sure there's room. I'll review my white section, but prolly won't be adding him. Galepowder Mage is much better, IMHO.
None of the rest look good enough to me. The 2GWW guy is going to be one of the most unfun cards ever though. And really awkwarded worded cards as well. Not a great start.

How is the 2GWW guy unfun? I don't understand. Unfun to play or unfun to play against? If you're talking about it being one of the most unfun cards ever to play against then Plow Under, Jace 2.0 and Braids would like a word with you.
Actually, the more I think about Sigarda, Host of Herons, I like the idea of a 5CC 5/5 Flying, Hexproof. She's imune to every targeted removal spell AND the likes of Diabolic Edict, Chainer's Edict, Consuming Vapors, Balance. You pretty much need a Wrath to get rid of her. I think she'll be good enough to cube with personally. I will likely cut Mirari's Wake for her.
Paladin - been waiting to boot out En-Vec for a long time
Restoration Angel - flash is a really nice plus. BCS not as good as Galepowder, but I think it might be more consistent, and WCS is not as low
Thunderous Wrath - yes, WCS is bad, but 5 dmg is so so much. Yes it's a bad opening hand card, but so is Fireblast. Knowing that this is in the cube in combination with a card like Fireblast makes your opponent so much more wary of dipping low in life.
GW Sigarda - Very strong for sure, but probably won't make the cut for me. Actually its multicolored nature is a liability for me in the sense that it's unable to block 4 of the 5 swords.
I don't think the paladin is going to be as good enough to boot En-Vec.
Restoration Angel will be debatable for people who already run Galepowder.
Thunderous Wrath will be awesome in constructed, but horrible for cube. I'm actually pretty pissed at the "miracle" mechanic... it'll give more opportunities for D-bags to cheat =/
Sigarda is probably the 5th or 6th best Selesnya card. I'm running 5, and I'm not cutting Glare of Subdual for her. Even if she is a more powerful card, I'm going to keep the diversity of what I have:
Silverblade Paladin and Restoration Angel will be making our cube. The angel probably would as well, but we are so heavy in GW playables already, and she doesn't play along with the token theme GW has.
The Paladin has tremendous upside if you can curve into him - I would think going Accorder Paladin into him would be a pretty big game. He does have substantial downside in that he is quite bad on his own, and there can be some major league blowouts with him mid-combat with the loss of double strike.
I will definitely be cutting Transcendent Master for him to give him a fair shake.

The Angel looks too fair to me, I think I prefer Galepowder Mage, actually.
WG is too stacked for that new 5-drop.
The Miracle burn spell is interesting. I have no idea how to evaluate it yet.
I don't like the black 4-drop. If it's killed, it cost you two other creatures. That's pretty rough.

Agreed. Paladin has long overstayed his visit.
Just to get greedy and look at all the cute thinks Silverblade can do:
Porcelain Legionnaire, Accorder Paladin, Cloistered Youth, Student of Warfare, Hypnotic Specter, Sun Titan (bffs for life), Looter il-Kor (cute), Thieving Magpie (what kind of deck are you running!), Keldon Marauders, Plated Geopede, Stormblood Berserker, Stromkirk Noble (oh my god), Blistering Firecat, Strangleroot Geist, Vengevine, Bloodbraid Elf (bffs).
Wow, I thought it was bad and I didn't even notice that you had to sacrifice another creature when it undies. That card is terrible.
I'm hoping for some better Miracle cards with closer gaps in the non-Miracle cost/effect ratio. A 3UU Concentrate with a low Miracle cost could make things pretty interesting.
