Ultimate Price is almost strictly worse than Go for the Throat but still hits a lot of creatures, does Ultimate Price compete with Doom Blade for your cube?
Below is a quick list of creatures each of the three spells cannot hit. Wtwlf's 450 cube since mine isn't updated:
Go for the Throat's weaknessess
11 colorless targets
Phrexian Metamorph
Porcelain Legionnaire
Baleful Strix
Mirsha's Factory
Blade Splicer token
Doom Blade's weaknessess
30 black targets
Mirsha's Factory
Wild Mongrel
Spellskite
Batterskull token
Bonehoard token
Sorin, Lord of Innistrad token
Creeping Tar Pit
Lavaclaw Reaches
This seems very good to me. It definitely feels better than Doomblade, but I will wait for someone with some time on their hands to run the numbers comparing this with Doomblade and GftT.

Ultimate Price doesn't hit colorless creatures so it is almost always going to be worse than Go for the Throat. As for the number of black creatures in cube versus multicolor, most cubes around 500 will have more targets for Ultimate Price.
Wait, I'm confused by the colorless targets on Doom Blade's list... Also Mutavault is not an artifact, Spellskite is colorless, and there are a number of multicolored creatures that Doom Blade can't hit. I think I'm probably misinterpreting the list.
After looking at my 720 list, there are only 10 multicolored creatures that Doomblade can hit that Ultimate Price can't. This takes into consideration black multicolored creatures, monocolored creatures in the multi section (Kird Apre, etc.), and hexproof creatures. There are ~30 colorless creatures that Doomblade can hit that Ultimate Price can't including manlands. There are ~50 black creatures that Ultimate Price can hit that Doom Blade can't. When you consider that you will probably be running some black creatures on the list since you would be running black with these spells, it becomes pretty close, but it is apparent that Ultimate Price gets the edge in number of targets.
Now what about the importance of these targets and how good the creatures are? I think it's pretty much a wash, because there are creatures on both lists that you would never want to hit, while each also hits important creatures that the other does not. It's annoying that Ultimate Price doesn't hit the colorless manlands, but it pays off that you are now able to take down a Dark Confident (or a Pack Rat!).
the numbers will differ from cube to cube, but in my list doom blade (which i don't run) hits more targets than this. and in an actual draft it will be even better because i'll have drafted some of the targets it misses. i think ultimate price is a great card but i'm not going to run it, myself.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
It's impossible to squeeze this into my 360 cube as I'd rather have removal on a body. Like someone else has mentioned, doomblade is better because you'd probably have like half the black cards being drafted if you draft doomblade so it'll hit more. Black creatures are usually less profitable to remove anyway. Not being able to hit a masticore or a myr battlesphere makes it pretty bad imo.
@xfollowthereaperx: Could you adjust the numbers in the first post, so they don't include protection, hexproof and shroud anymorem since there are quite a few gold cards in that category.
Mutavault does not turn into an artifact when you activate it.
Those should be taken into account. I'll double check right now.
It's worse than GFtT, and about on Par with Doom Blade. I think the Blade hits more critical targets that Price misses than vice versa, so I'm going to keep Throat and Blade and leave Price out. I really don't think I need three of these cards in my 500. Blade is kinda fringe as it is.

Ultimate Price and Go for the Throat also get bonus points for being good against Control Magic effects and Spellskite.

I'm always open to suggestions on how to improve my cube. Take a look and ask a question, or give a constructive critique whenever you can.
I also like that it can target black when some other removal on stick cannot. That's probably my main reason.

I updated OP with a list of nontargets.
Why are the 11 colorless targets listed as a weakness for Doom Blade? It can hit them all. It's not a Terror. It can hit Spellskite too.
And Go For The Throat can hit Mutavault; it's not an artifact.

Good catch. Still fiddling around with the numbers, but I'm really liking this over Doom Blade.

I was like: Finally, the black StP!
But then I checked here and it cost 1B, and disappointment ensued.

good decision!
it's pretty even between Doom Blade and Ultimate Price.

This is just the worst, Chainer's Edict is leaps and bounds better than this spell.
