Tinker might be too good, but Channel is harder to break because you have to draw both it and the specific target you're trying to cast.
Tinker could be harder to pull off. Especially in unpowered. You need to draw Tinker, an artifact and not draw your threat. Guess it depends on how many artifacts and threats your running.
I have no issues running a tinker package in my 540 unpowered cube. It doesn't necessarily require signets, but they help.
I take care to run a lot of artifact hate (perhaps more than I need to, to be honest) to make sure most decks will at least have a sideboard answer to the tinker deck.
As for Eldrazi, I have considered them from time to time but have never played them. If I did, I believe I would take Ulamog and Kozilek but not Emrakul.
I also do not play Show and Tell or Sneak Attack. If I were to add that package then Eldrazi would definitely come in along with them.
I run a 360 unpowered and recently put in Kozilek to test. My Cube is pretty fair, nothing too broken can happen. I ended up drafting Kozilek and Mirari's Wake with some other ramp and acceleration and got this guy out reasonably early and he won it for me. Also, my opponent wasn't sad as it wasn't like a T3 or 4 play, it was like T6 or something so he had plenty of chances. I am going to keep him around for a while and am also looking to put in Ulamog as well to see. I like the idea of people being able to take these and try and get them out.
Overall, in an unpowered Cube without signets, Eldrazi have been fun enough to warrant the inclusion of another. Also, hard casting these makes your spine tingle, in a good way.
I play the two titans and they do well in the cheating fatty decks. I've been playing Show and Tell, Sneak attack and Through the Breach and it's been good. I've lost many games to it.
