With Teferi I guess this could be pretty sick, like in standard, or with any card advantage PW for that matter.
However I think the biggest limiting factor for this card is it's color. My control decks don't want green, and this card alone doesn't change that fact.
I've been testing this card for the last couple months. It has been pretty good, but on the chopping block. One of the problems is that the combo with crucible/loam is very "do nothing". However, with Wrenn and Strix in Modern Horizons, it's possible that pushes it over the edge since you can push your crucible to an ultimate! I wanted to necro this thread in case others may test alongside Wrenn and Strix.
Some decks just can't win to the card, which makes is serviceable in the Land-Deck. It's not in danger in our cube for now. It's mostly unplayable outside of this deck though. Most cubers doesn't like it for that reason. For our part, we like to think a little bit outside of the box. In fact, the Land-Deck do exist in our cube environment because of that. Without some key marginal pieces, it would just be some interactions between a couple of cards.

Green in your Unfair module looks like it is basically a Land's Deck package.
When we were kids my brother and I had a "gentleman's agreement" that he could play Mists and Glacial Crevasses and Dawnstrider as long as he didn't use them to completely shut me out of the game.
I been thinking. Why don't we just play Ensnaring Bridge instead?

...because Bridge stops you from attacking, and effects like this only hurt your opponent? It's also a surprise, so it can blowout combat math and win games when people are racing; Bridge can't do that.

I come from Legacy/ Modern. Karn into Ensnaring bridge is often lights out for the opponent - either they fail to answer or it gives the opponent 2-3 unchecked activation off their planes walkers.

You asked why Bridge isn't good in cube. It's because the effect is too narrow and far too difficult to make asymmetrical in this environment.
It's also completely different than Constant Mists. Since this is the Constant Mists thread, the comparison between Bridge and Mists is the direction I took the conversation.
If you want to discuss the pros/cons of using Bridge, maybe open up a thread for it.
People have played and ultimately cut Bridge in this format a lot over the years. It's just not a very good card in cube.
I guess the question should be this - Is Mist more played in Prison decks to buy more turns with walkers/ lock with withs or is it more played in race situations?

It has the flexibility of being able to be played in both, which is why it's generally more playable than something like Bridge. It can win races with the surprise factor, it can buy time in control without preventing you from counter-attacking with your finishers, AND it can be used as a lock piece in decks with Loam/Crucible effects available. Constant Mists is a good card. The reason I don't play it is that it's too feast or famine for my tastes, in addition to being just a miserable card to play with/against.

I also want to clarify, I didn't meant the question in that way - Its hard to read tone of voice over the internet.
I think its awesome you're always here to shine light on these cards.
