I've loved Memory Jar but it can do nothing if your drafters don't really wanna try to break it. Super duper easy to make it one-sided. I like it in mono-red but 5 mana for a wheel of fortune is a lot. I love it in artifact decks or ramp decks to barf permanents everywhere. If you can recur Memory Jar, it can even become a goofy mill wincon. I haven't tested Hedron Archive enough but it seems sweet.
I remember a few years ago that Consecrated Sphinx wasn't very popular and everyone ran Aetherling. Now the reverse seems true. What's the deal? After losing two games to Aetherling recently, I still like it.
At 450+ blue has room for both plus Torrential Gearhulk. At 360 maybe you'd cut the Aetherling as it is more of a seven drop than anything, doesn't provide value until you can swing with it and while usually an attack with Aetherling will win the game, it can take a while if you have to keep blinking it to protect it and protecting it also costs you the ability to block with it which does come up.
I would definitely run Consecrated Sphinx over Aetherling at every size, but I kind of think there's room for both at all sizes too. Blue needs control finishers.
Degalmer still targets, so it can’t “kill” Sphinx of the Steel Wind.
There’s no “colorless ability” involved with Degalmer / Oblivion Ring. O-Ring can remove Emrakul because it’s being targeted by a triggered ability, not a spell.
Wall of Roots also activates immediately and potentially on your opponent's turn in addition to you own. Wall of Roots is probably (definitely?) a 360 staple, Channeler dies to a stiff breeze and doesn't really vibe with what green wants the same way Wall does.
Cruiser, but not by a lot. They both kind of do the same thing--provide reach for non-red aggro decks while still fitting in red aggro--but I feel like Cruiser is a bit more consistent and that a hastey 5 (EDIT: 4*, I knew that I swear!) drop would be something my mono black aggro deck might want more than a cursed scroll.
I quite like the idea of Fleetwheel Cruiser taking the slot of Cursed Scroll, colorless reach. But that's also cuz I prefer imagining a big fast stompy car winning the game instead of a neat piece of paper.
Pox vs. Death Cloud in a list that supports Stax well and already runs Smallpox?

My line of thinking is that my black/white/even blue aggro/tempo decks will have ways to remove creatures, which is one of the usages of Cursed Scroll, but none of those colors have a 5/3 *hastey* trampler for 4 or anything really close to immediate damage at that cost. The closest thing is probably Elspeth, Knight-Errant or Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, cards control decks or slower strategies could want unlike Cruiser which is definitely best in aggro.
That being said, I've turned a leaf on Cursed Scroll and think that, if you want non-red aggro to do well, you should be including Scroll since it's one of the only ways for those decks to do direct damage outside of their creatures.
1. Dark Confidant - maybe debatable, but it's a 2/1 that draws you a card every turn. Just don't run it in your Emrakul decks.
2. Pack Rat - Win con on its own, really strong when it can't be stopped, but it is mana intensive. I could see switching this with Confidant.
3. Bloodghast - A lot of synergies and really tough to kill for good
4. Scrapheap Scrounger - Being colorless means it doesn't always fall into black decks, but the recursion has been nice
5. Heir of Falkenrath - While it can be lacking as a discard outlet, it works if you only need it once, and when you can toss a Bloodghast or whatever the ability almost feels free
I also like Pain Seer/Glint-Sleeve Siphoner/Asylum Visitor as I think those cards are part of the essential package for black aggro to do well, but I would happily replace a number of them with better bob variants if/when they come.

3. Oona's Prowler
4. Bloodghast
5. Gifted Aetherborn
If counting Scrapheap Scrounger as black, that probably ties with Bloodghast for last.
