I currently have gone with the first two, as I don't support storm and I feel like Gush is mostly a storm card, but maybe that's wrong. I I am less sure on the others though. Thoughts?
For combo, Gush and Gifts gain a lot of value. Vision is the best one for control. Cruise is the best one for tempo, and Analysis is the best midrange/durdly value one. So I'd pick which ones you want based on the role you want them to fill.
They left out the part where Yawgmoth is resurrected, but has been cleansed as Yawgmoth the Redeemed, and now must awaken Chromium so that Karn can fuse with him and create what can only be known as : the ultimate taco.
I would say Bomat Courier offers something a bit different from the other two, which are more regular aggro beaters. Cool with Rielle too if you're going to include that with Ikoria.
Stromkirk Noble has always been considered one the best red 1-drops in our group, but a lot of Cubers here don’t like it as much. Bomat is used in more than red aggro which makes it a great inclusion.
I like Jackal Pup > Stromkirk Noble > Bomat Courier, but I actually run all 3.
2 power is important. I wish we had a couple more good 2-power 1-drops in general!
1. Shenanigans (powered) = Manic Vandal (unpowered) > Shredded Sails (decent, but I don't think the cycling makes up for the huge limitation on targets compared to Abrade). (Note: I don't run any of these three, but I actually like all of them)
2. Ritual of Soot >> Mass Extinction (I think that card is bad). (Note: I don't like either card)
3. Magmatic Sinkhole > Mythos of Vadrok (I like the cheap ceiling on Sinkhole compared do the dividable damage on the one that's always going to cost me 4 mana). (Note: I don't like either card)
For the sake of argument, shouldn't Manic Vandal be replaced with Irreverent Revelers from THB assuming Vandal is the optimal choice for your cube?
Not necessarily. I think being both a Human and a Warrior might make Manic Vandal better than Irreverent Revelers in a lot of cases still. But with no tribal interactions, sure. Revelers probably gets the nod.
Courier > Noble > Pup. Courier is a one drop that draws spot removals more than others, is the best topdeck of the three and is playable in artifact decks. Noble usually grows to respectable sizes. Pup is the worst blocker of the three.
I am planning on trying Purphuros's Intervention over Magmatic Sinkhole, and I like it more than Mythos. It can kill a mana dork turn two, or a titan turn four, not to mention killing opponents.
For us Embereth Shieldbreaker was by far the best Manic Vandal variant.
Nissa who shakes the world > Nissa, Worldwaker
It's hard to compare to Vivien, Monster's Advocate without 1) testing it, 2) they support different decks, so it also depends on what type of decks you support, and which decks needs a PW more. I tend to find my green midrange decks need PW support more than my ramp decks,
I prefer Nissa, who shakes the world > Nissa, Worldwaker. It has a higher starting loyalty counter. It can theoretically ramp you harder, and I like the interactions of being able to turn manlands into 0/0 with + counters, and then activate them.
Serpent. Haven't tested him, but cut Precursor a while ago. Serpent is flexible and should see a lot more play.
Mu by far. Tamiyo is too expensive for an answer card these days. Mu has performed very well here, she usually produces two Air Elementals before she dies.
Blue card draw spells, pick two: Deep Analysis, Treasure Cruise, Gush, Gifts Ungiven, Ancestral Vision
I currently have gone with the first two, as I don't support storm and I feel like Gush is mostly a storm card, but maybe that's wrong. I I am less sure on the others though. Thoughts?

On spoiled card wishlisting and 'should-have-had'-isms:

2 - Ritual of Soot vs Mass Extinction ?
3 - Mythos of Vadrok vs Magmatic Sinkhole ?
In general I don't think recently spoiled cards get as many responses because people don't know yet, but I'll take a stab:
Manic Vandal > Shredded Sails = Shenanigans (give Shenanigans the nod in Powered, but I wouldn't run either card)
Ritual of Soot >> Mass Extinction (Mass Extinction seems pretty bad to me)
Mythos of Vadrok > Magmatic Sinkhole
Ritual of Soot over Mass Extinction. Ritual of Soot is a great control card because it can wipe out all the aggro dudes.
Mythos I guess but I'm not a big fan of either. I would not run Mythos as mono-red though, so to me these two cards don't compete.
Cheers,
