This guy did work over the weekend. Run him out (as a spell) early and often, and bring him back when you run out of gas, or when you are running low on creatures (especially if you have an equip on the board). He did 12 damage in one matchup, including pumping the last two by a Redcap against a counterspell holding opponent.
I just ran him in a zoo type deck tonight, and he was amazing. My opponents found them selves in many situation where they had to trade off high end cards for a Loam Lion or Savannah Lion. He was great for the curve too. I don't know if he fits in every aggro deck, but he's found a home in Naya Zoo and RDW here

Unpowered Cube, work in progress, but getting there!
It's been pretty solid for us in aggro decks. It's okay as a 3-drop, it allows your cheap creatures to trade up, it tacks on extra damage, and it gives you something to invest spare mana in once you hit your 5th land (often aggro has unspent mana if the game goes long because all your spells are cheap).
That being said, it's my weakest red card, and it might not survive the M14 update.

I haven't been able to play my cube a whole lot and so this hasn't really shown up for us. How has it been for those of you who run it? Amazing, average, poor?
in an average game im only playing him once or twice, but he has been the reason i have won the last 5 or 6 games ive played with him in my deck.
In my cube he seems to be a longterm addition. the recursion is expensive, but after a wrath when you get a haste drop( ideally)or just any damage in being able to catch up in CA against any deck is great.
its a pump spell that is a creature if you get into top deck mode
I'm quite happy with him at 360. He's a cool utility three drop who does a decent job of beating down if need be. He does something different for a few decks and he's a reasonable draw at any point in a game, so he's not quite on the block just yet. Definitely at the looser end of the spectrum, though.
We've been happy with Shaman. He's one of few 3 power 3 drops, and he's fine cast. Often, he also good in hand threatening bad blocks or future damage. Having a mana sink is fine too. I have room at 600, so I think he'll be around for a few blocks.

Possibly trying to see if there was a like-for-like replacement, and/or wants to get a snapshot of the changes at that point in time to see if the cube's context affected the decision. I think that's way overthinking it though
"Solid" is good enough for me. Thanks!

Off the top of my head, bellstriker is an obviously better red card that would boot the shaman.

Not in M14 though...
Chandra, Pyromaster, then. Young Pyromancer is also an m14 card that is much, much better than shaman.
