What do we think of the WU god? More expensive quasi-phyrexian arena in decks with lots of creatures, with the potential to be a 6/5 indestructible beater. 7 devotion is a lot though.
I think she's gonna be a pass for most cubes, but I like the design.

As long as your devotion to white and blue is less than seven, Ephara isn't a creature.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you had another creature enter the battlefield under your control last turn, draw a card.

I'm not sure how good she is, she seems decent if you heavily support the blink archetype in your UW section.
I'll probably let someone else test this than buying it at launch.

7 is a pretty massive amount of devotion in any format, let alone cube, if we're to compare them to the monocolor gods. Her draw ability does help prevent overextension in the decks that want her, but those decks need to be well-built, curve out perfectly, and proceed undisrupted to animate her most of the time. Way too fickle for my tastes.
Inspired is a tricky mechanic. It definitely needs support to be worthwhile, and there's a little overlap with the blink deck, but there are also plenty of nonbos there as well. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out, but I don't think the seer is good enough without additional support.
Bestow and devotion are back which could be interesting as both have graced my cube so there is a good chance they will again.
If this multigod is an indication I am doubtful any will make it for me. Gold is too tight for the iffy animation prospect. The static ability would have to be beyond busted since it looks like they don't get an activated one.
I am waiting for an inspiration card with haste, maybe on red with a pinging ability?

Turns out, the ability triggers on EACH upkeep. Makes the card significantly better, but still not cubable.
I would play 2UU draw a card on your upkeep. Not a card that cost 1 more color AND is a conditional card draw. I'm going to ignore devotion because 7 devotion is insane.

Well, it's only 5 more, since you'll have 2 already from the god itself. And the mono-colored ones required 4, and usually only triggered off half your cards. I don't think the devotion is that unreachable since it'll trigger off almost all of your permanents.
That said, the WU god isn't very good. I'll take a Honden of Seeing Winds over this most of the time.
Reaching five devotion off of two other colors should not be terribly difficult to do. Mind Control and friends give two (as do many of the enchantment based removal spells eg. Detention Sphere). I would say three other on-color permanents will give you seven devotion on average. As for the ability, I don't really like it. But having a 6/5 indestructible attacker... Geist of Saint Traft is obviously much better, and competing for the same slot. Although the synergy there...

It's 7 devotion, and that is a LOT.
Edit - Realize now you probably meant 5 additional devotion, but I thought you might be confusing these with the Theros gods.
I am surprised there is not a SCD for the new Gruul 3 drop. Doesn't blow the doors off but it is how i like my punisher mechanics. 4/4 trample for 3 or 4/4 trample haste for 3 that is 3/3 after turn one.
I guess is is awkward in the late game if your opponent has a big blocker or maze of ith or icy, but not 3 drop aggressive cards aren't great there anyway.
Smitter didn't make the cut but Gruul is really jsut crowed at the 4 drop. I like it more than boggart ram gang, and it fits the R/G elf into midrange plan better than Kird Ape. It is probably on par with the Flinthoof boar and the Ghor Clan Rampager. So maybe 540 material depending on how many planewalkers you want in your gold section.
I am wondering why nobody talks about Fated Intervention? Its 5 mana for 6 power and toughness at instant speed or close to 6 power and toughness + draw a card at sorcery speed. Sure its not a staple, but medium sized cubes should have a look at this card.
Have you seen green's 5cc suite? There are several cards that are better than this currently on the outside looking in.
Liking the gruul 3 drop. Snap include in big cubes. Probably not in smaller
Fated intervention seems pretty strong, scry 2 is an effect I really like in green ramp decks, especially when I get up to 5 mana. At that point it might even be as good as draw a card. (The value of drawing a big creature vs a land or a ramp creature is huge at this point)
Could see it playing a role in larger cubes. Def not smaller cubes.

It's not that it is not nice, especially being over two bodies. But a couple of issues
Casting cost: I'd rather have Vorapede and many don't play that. For 5 mana 6 power is not a lot. Thnik Kolonian Hydra. The area of green is jammed. Call of the Herd seems like a better option.
Tokens: Master of the Wild Hunt, Deranged Hermit, and Armada Wurm are the level of power I am looking for.
Not a Creature: Most of the best Token cards are creatures because of all the green synergies. Reanimator/Gensis/Natural Order/GSZ/Worldly Tutor etc.
Too Slow: Even with ramp a 3/3 creature on turn 3-5 is not exciting, two of them is not going to make your opponents Restoration Angel killable.
Now if it were 6 mana and made three 3/3 I might be more interested.

Yeah. He seemed so promising. I think he has drawn like 2 cards in his entire existence in our cube.

Then again, you never know...
I might try her in my edh cube, but that's a whole different animal...

I'd consider ophiomancer a staple now.

I'm thinking no, (the punisher mechanic seems pretty real on this card).
But curious if others disagree
