A well-built Wildfire deck has a great shot at 3-0ing a draft because it generally has tools that are great against both aggro and control. Traditionally this type of midrange deck is only great against aggro, but when you are ramping into big threats and then casting an Armageddon that leaves you ahead on mana against control, that's pretty much game. There are some great tools in both blue and black if you are able to get the manabase for Jund or Temur Wildfire.
Wildfire and Devastation cards like are insane in cube, even in a heavily powered one. They just need a certain push and creativity to be worth.
Personnaly, I really like the Planeswalkers gameplan. You first need to rock ramp, then drop Planeswalker and finally burst the board with one of the cards mentionned just above. Elspeth, Sun's Champion or Knight Errant are insane in that kind of strategy, while Tirel is okay. Gideon Jura,or even Champion of Justice if you're cube is big enough to welcome him, are also a all-star players here. The new Sarkhan, Dragon Speaker is also a must in those kind of build and I was more than happy to see him print few months ago for the exact reason! (screw standard! Just kidding :P) Any Garruk version is very nice too or even Koth (mostly with Wildfire to keep at least a Mountain in play) is insane as well!
With Wildfire, you can also try with to hang a 5 thoughness and more creature in there, but theres always a chance that you're opponent could do the same or just burn it down when you process.
So to resume, I feel like the Devastation and Planeswalkers gameplan is a much safer but slower one, while the Wildfire and Fatty one is certainly a riskier but quicker one.
Black is a good pairing with Wildfire since it has plenty of targeted removal that kills things that Wildfire can't.
Also, unconditional tutors I built a really good BR wildfire deck a while back with Sarkan Dragonspeaker and Ob Nixilis PW as finishers, both iterations of wildfire, and Demonic and Vampiric Tutor. It was disgusting.
Now it gets interesting... before I see Wildfire as a limited archtype but with these suggestions it seems to work with multiple cards... and colors!
The Delve insight makes me want to put in Tasigur in.
Also, BoX is cheap now thanks to FTV, so I think I may double up on my Wildfire effects and try to force the archtype sometime.

Good idea. If you haven't try it out yet, I really recommended you to give a shot at it. Fun and powerful cube archetype.
I'm considering supporting a wildfire deck in my cube
Black already has recursive creatures and angler/tasigur. Red has some recursive creatures like phoenix, but I think adding creatures that are cheap to deploy and have late game relevance (Kargan dragonlord for example) help wildfire take over the guy quickly post apocalypse.
I could see a wildfire deck being RB and playing a control game of staying alive with small efficient removal till it can blow up the world. Then using a combination of angler/tasigur to drop a cheap big guy or dropping a dragonlord/dragon whisperer/bloodghast/champion to tempo the opponent to out

"And you, you've invoked me before. From the midwife's role to the burier's toll my presence grows within you all."
RB is the least played Wildfire deck in my cube. It can be good, but I've found that other colors bring more to the table for the deck. I don't think most cubes are running Angler and black lacks good walkers to drop before Wildfire (Liliana of the Veil isn't at her best in this deck). So, I find that the other colors just more naturally support Wildfire than black.
I really enjoy BR Wildfire. There's a group of good options that can survive Wildfire, solid removal that can kill their 'walkers and 5+ toughness targets, and TUTORS, which can make or break the Wildfire deck's consistency. It's one of the more payed Wildfire shells in our group.
We don't play wildfire, but I'm interested in what it would take for me to support it.
What would one consider to be the minimum supporting package to support wildfire. Preferably with cards that are good on their own?

We don't run the signets, are they neccesary?
You need Wildfire and Burning of Xinye. The rest of the deck should already be in the cube. And no, you don't specifically need Signets. Any colorless mana rocks will do fine.
You'll want redundancy in the form of more sweepers you can abuse - Upheaval, Earthquake, Toxic Deluge
Alternatively, you'll want ways to get those key cards - tutors and card drawing/filtering.
Between 6 Mox, Sol Ring and Chromatic Lantern you may be ok given you have such a small cube. I'd be tempted to add one more mana rock along the lines of Worn Powerstone or Thran Dynamo to give the deck a boost. Just noticed that you're not running Upheaval, that pairs nicely with the wildfires and the rocks I mentioned, you even have the Psychatog for the old-school combo.
This cube is about two weeks old, and all I've done so far is 2 person sealed and mock drafting online. Seems like I'm always short on artifact mana for Wildfire / Upheaval decks. I've considered running the signets, or at least some of them, but it seems inelegant.
I also realize the cube needs lots of work, especially in green and white, but this was more or less from things I have on-hand. I've considered adding a second copy of Wildfire or buying a Burning of Xinye. Probably the former, since I'm considering doing the same thing with Armageddon. Is one copy plus Ember Swallower enough at 360?

Lovin' that white splash.
Yeah.
For those who listen to the podcast, this was the Wildfire draft where the drafter described the new Chandra as "godlike."

I wonder if there is some potential there, maybe like a Rakdos build that just blows up the world, and combos with recursion and delve

You'll want something that survives the damage to attack after playing Wildfire. This includes x/5+ creatures like Titans or Thundermaw Hellkite, and planeswalkers like Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker or Chandra, Flamecaller.

Like wtwlf123 said, most cubes already run those things. Look at what I found in his cube:

Is there any card in those decks you aren't running already?
