Created this thread due to the high number of top 20 votes this dude is getting. I value mana elves highly but for some reason I assumed this elf was just another really solid role player like Llanowar elves. Do people really think it is one of the top 20 first pick-able green cards in their cube?
In my playgroup, madam Joraga Treespeaker is affectively known as Sol Ring, which shows the high esteem she has around here. She alone ramps you to 5 mana on turn 3 while allowing you to curve normally. I didn't vote in the Power Rankings, but I can definitely see the appeal.
MrBrightside nailed it for our group too. I have not been voting this time around (a bit too out of the loop) but Treespeaker is insane. We feel it fights with Rofellos for best mana elf, though the tend to fit slightly different roles. Treespeaker goes in basically any green deck where Rofellos really wants something huge and very green to cast, like Hornet Queen.
If I was taking a green card P1P1, Treespeaker would be pretty close to the top of my list.
Joraga Treespeaker was discussed here in the Random Cube Card of the Day Thread. If your done speaking to trees we have real life people to converse with in the thread.
(Spoiler: A top tier elf, it can't fix colours but it ramps harder than the others.)

Oh, also it fixes 1G into GG?
And it gets a bigger butt when it levels up?
I don't always voted green yet, but when I do, I vote for Joraga Treespeaker. (or something)
