Been playing with this for almost two months now. I've noticed that she's flipped through combat a lot more times than I initially expected... and when she doesn't flip she's granting evasion to something. I really like her in the Braids decks and she's been a stud in reanimator, especially against aggro. I suppose she's just okay when you have no other creatures on the board (though 2/3 lifelink really isn't bad depending on the matchup), but otherwise she's been really impressive. Loads of value for 1BB no matter what so you don't see her in sideboards as long as you're in black.
It's too soon to call her a staple, but she really does feel like one.
It's gonna suck for my wallet though... I keep 2 copies of DFC's (with the flipside ones in my tokens box) and I'm sure a shiny one is going to be stupid expensive.
I am playing it as well since she has been release as a spoiler and OMG, she's so far away from Vampire Nighthawk in terms of creative intereactions! What a magic card! Provide card advantage, little life edge, reanimation possibilities and so much more. I draf a lot and all I can say is that she's awesome and that she will become staple as soon as she's officially release. Sweet piece of art too!
When I read voiddisciple's comment, I think I have to agree. She being out gives somewhat shroud to your creatures as well as unblockability. To kill a creature beside her, you should be ready to discard a card or make sure nothing in the graveyard can go back.
With that, she is not a slum dunk like Gideon. Feedback from most is great, but I think I am going to wait this off for now.

A color copier and a piece of cardstock combine to make a pretty good solution.
Pretty darn good. The body is useful on the front side, and she replaces herself with another threat when she transforms, so you never lose out on board presence.
Just bumping this to see how the card is doing for everyone so far. Is this card realistically sticking around for a while? Especially with Drana and the other recent 3-drops it's hard to evaluate this card's standing without having played with it yet. Thanks!
She's good. It's up there. Not sure if I like her or Drana better yet, but they're both quite good. Unless you are running 360, run her. If you are running 360, she's one of the best optionn still.
It stands up well in a really stacked section. It's inherently strong but also offers good synergies with other archetypes like Stax, has two relevant tribal interactions in Zombie and Human, and is a big hit in flavour and art. Hard to compare to Drana, but they are both good in their own ways.
Just had this in a Rakdos aggro shell last night and it just solidified its place in my mind. Just wanted to say how great this still is after spoiler season.
In aggro v aggro matchups the lifelink matters, ALOT, vs midrange or control her flipping can turn the game in your favor really fast, along with blacks suite of creatures that simply wont die, her bringing back your second color's threats to be resilient lets you just take over a game with 1 and 2 drops.
I have been loving this card. Lifelink stapled to a lot of solid Black cards recently has been fantastic. I am pretty aggressive with my use of Dark Confidant and love me a Bitterblossom/Vampiric Tutor so gaining some of that back with Liliana (and now Kalitas) is great.
Agreed, I played her in a Grixis Control deck last night, we were playing a proxied version of the MODO holiday cube, I had a nice lockdown with Lili + The Abyss. I was able to flip Liliana a lot by evoking Shreikmaw, it's a really nice synergy I haven't noticed until now.
In our experience Liliana has a hard time making the final 40, and is ok to good when she does see play. The other flipwalkers we played (Kytheon, Jace and Nissa) have all seen a lot of play and performed good to great, so Liliana's has been a somewhat lackluster performance in comparison. She just seems a bit durdly and non-essential.
She's currently on our chopping block and may get replaced once SoI rolls around.
What kind of decks does she usually see play in, or get cut from apparently, in your cube? I'm just wondering if there is a play style difference that makes her wonderful in ours and terrible in yours.

I'm also wondering the exact same thing because she has performed pretty well so far on our side.

Midrange decks with a stax element, most often. She doesn't make the cut in aggro, obviously. We don't see a whole lot of black control decks here so I don't have a lot of data of her performance in that type of deck.
I never said she was terrible though, I literally rated her performance 'ok to good'. It's just that we expect more from cube cards, and the other flipwalkers have performed *much* better.
Edit - I should probably mention that our cube uses Rochester draft, which results in insanely good pools (think only a handful of cards that wouldn't fit in your deck). Some cards just don't work well enough in such an environment.
We play her mainly in aggro. It makes trades in combat horrible for your opponent, and she basically demands to be removed before anything else on your board.

On spoiled card wishlisting and 'should-have-had'-isms:
This, she is one of the only walkers who ults semi-regularly in my group, and her -X might as well be a second ultimate.
