You're underestimating the counter ability. Still very useful when reanimated early. And menace on a 12/12 in the early game is pretty sick. It either kills two of their creatures or gets in for 12...

Ive seen it counter removal spells. The card is great.
Chandra, Firecaller doesn't make it into my 360 after all. I do want another option, but it'll be nice if it's Inferno Titan level of fatties because I want it to be reanimable as well. I think 450 cube should all try that card for once though.
After played at the OGW prerelease and see the card in action, I think I'm definitly putting Eldrazi Displacer in the cube. The powerlevel he brings to table is just too insane to ignore. Only as a 3/3 vannila dude, he doesn't seem appealing, but I think that his ability is so gamebreaker that he deserves to be test even if you just randomly can use it 1/3 of the time when you end up maindecking it. For that reason, I've edited my inclusions post and put him in the white section. Whit that said, I won't drasticly shake up my land base to include tons of colorless sources, but to help him out, but I'm going to give to the white guilds all the pain lands that I can and add some Wastes to my basic land pool just to make sure players can activate it.
Ya, Eldrazi Displacer has been great. The only knock on the card is the need for C and the vulnerability to removal (not a big deal because it's only a 3-mana investment, but important because so much of its value hinges on staying around for a long time). But it's still a great cube card, and if you have ways of making C happen, it should probably find a home. I think it's the best of the "guildrazi" cards that require both colored mana and colorless mana to function.
So, I haven't play tested at all, but I plan to treat <> simply as an additional color and supply wastes as a basic land just like the other 5. I don't plan to adjust my duals at all, so the other only source of <> will be mana rocks and other incidental cards. This forces people to adjust their mana bases accordingly if they really want to play one of the 4-5 of so cards.
The question will come down to, can I reliably cast the card and have the mana work out? I'm ok with leaving that deck-building question up to the player.
Is it silly that I want to test Seed Guardian? The body seems decent for the cost and it has a situational value death trigger stapled onto it. I like new sets that have some uncommons/commons worth testing as well and none from Oath have really been brought up.
Here are the renders I've made for testing OGW in my cube. I'm posting here for those that may want to test these cards, but have been unable to find renders themselves. I'm actually testing more than these, but I was able to find (better) renders by more talented Photoshoppers than me.
This art works better for this non Stoneforge Mystic card, IMO. TBH, this was probably just an extra Kor art they had lying around anyway. I like this art, but I'm not a fan of it for Stoneforge. I think it works for Ayli.
I couldn't figure out how to fade top to bottom to do the colorless Eldrazi frame correctly, but I kinda like the way these ended up looking anyway. Also, I'm not 100% satisfied with the way the colorless mana symbol turned out here. I copied it from Z's Kozilek render. I hope we get this one added to an updated Magic symbols font soon.
This one is technically not from OGW, but it's going in for testing this round, so might as well include the render here.
Also not OGW, but also going into the cube with this update to support the need for colorless. I couldn't find a render, so I made this one for testing.
I've been liking most of the OGW cards I've added so far. I picked up a foil Vile Redeemer just incase, but anyone have some data on it?
Nothing solid yet on Wreckage, and I think it's going to take a while to get a real feel for how it plays. It tends to not get activated very much, but when it does, it's a game breaking effect. It's been noted that unlike Library, it's very difficult to activate on consecutive turns. It's definitely not worth playing Wastes on its own for it, generally speaking (unless you're, say, a mono-green deck with land tutor effects), so you do need to be actively supporting colorless to get the value you want out of it.
I haven't had the opportunity to add many new cards in yet, but I did get a chance to test the new Chandra. We ran 2 drafts, and it was featured in a Jeskai Control deck in the first, and a Boros Control deck in the second. Both the players who ran her said that she was a very solid card, applying an extremely fast clock and offered a sweeper for when they needed it. Surprisingly, the 0 option didn't come up at all, because in the board states where they were ahead they'd rather swing with the 3/1s, though I can certainly see it happening in future games.
I slotted her in over Tempt with Vengeance, and I can certainly see her staying in barring an emerging token strategy for Red in future sets.
Reality Smasher has been a house and very easy to splash for. Trample on a body that size out of nowhere completely destroys any math done for combat the turn earlier. That is the only one I have seen in any decks so far.
Slightly off topic question for those who are now supporting the new colorless theme: have any of you added From Beyond? When the card first came out in BFZ, the consensus was that the one mana more than Awakening Zone made the card noticeably worse in comparison and its sacrifice ability had few targets since BFZ introduced very few cubable new Eldrazi. However, has From Beyond gone up for any of you that you want to give it a second look mainly because of the new colorless archetype?
I tried out From Beyond but quickly soured on it. The difference between 3 mana and 4 mana for the effect is vast, even with all the upgrades.
Also, so far I think this may end up being the Chandra we've been looking for. I think the biggest point in her favor is that her closing speed is basically unprecedented for a planeswalker; most offer you a few turns to try to find answers and clean up the board, but Chandra can and will kill you out of the blue. All of her other abilities are very powerful and situationally insane, but it's the ability to provide such an immediate clock that makes her a worthy 6-drop.
This is indeed the best Chandra ever printed, I just don't think I want to cut any card in my red section for her yet. I'll wait for another Inferno Titan patienty here.
If I got 450 cube or above I'll be hard press to play her.

Its been good in my cube. Has a decent chance of hitting 2 lands. Its a big threat that leads into even bigger threats. Pretty good with Ashiok.

We even went a little crazy with adding 3 Oaths to see if they can function as a draw towards walker control builds.I'm iffy on some of those inclusions myself, but we'll see how things go.

After looking at my own green 4 drops, I believe you're right. None of them I would cut for Seed Guardian. Thanks for taking me off my high train.

That's probably the best comparison to it and Penumbra Spider was cut from my own cube when I first started just a few weeks in.
