Hey all, new cuber here. I am building my first cube, and looking for archetypes to support. I am going with some basic stuff for now ( :symr:/:symw: aggro, :symb:/:symu: control, :symu:/:symr: spells matter, etc). I am shooting for a 360 card list. So having been drafting a ton of SOI, I really enjoy the Green/Black/x Delirium decks that come together in the format. So, i was curious if anyone has been experimenting with these cards in their cubes?
Other than some of the obvious includes Kindly Stranger and Autumnal Gloom, and even other graveyard mechanics (scavenge, dredge, threshold) im looking for other cards that would be awesome in supporting the archetype, don't break the bank and wouldn't show up on a cursory search of gatherer XP . Something like Executioner's Capsule from Shards, it just seems like the perfect support spell for Delirium.
So, any cards hit you as perfect for the archetype?:)
I don't feel like the payoff is there for Delirium in my unpowered cube, but I do run Tooth Collector in my Peasant cube because in that environment even if Delirium never happens a 3/2 for 3 with that ETB trigger is decent. However, the competition is way too steep for black 3-drops for me to consider it outside of Peasant. I also think Topplegeist is close, because a 1/1 flier for w with the ETB trigger is not the worst for aggro decks.
If you want to enable Delirium in your cube, on top of ways to get things into your graveyard like discard outlets and self-mill you should look into having a higher concentration of artifact creatures and enchantment creatures because those are fairly easy ways to get two card types into your graveyard over the natural course of play, and they'll work in non-Delirium decks. Fetch lands, manlands, self-sacrificing utility lands and cycling lands are great ways to get land into your yard that are perfectly playable in non-Delirium decks.

Up the permanents with two types like Artifact Creatures and Enchantment Creatures, for ECs, conveniently black has the best ones in Gnarled Scarhide, Herald of Torment, Master of the Feast. Balance out the sorcery and instant count if there are cards with similar power level (e.g. Grim Tutor vs Vampiric Tutor).
Tutors will help - a single Buried alive can satisfy your delirium and an Entomb can satisfy 3 of the four permanent types. Card filtering can help as well.
Overall you don't have to do much to support delirium, but personally there aren't any real good cards with delirium.

Oh my god I think I have thought and played as if tooth collector was a 2/3 for the entirety of SOI.

Do you remember when Vampire Nighthawk was spoiled as a 3/2 for a couple months before we got the visual spoiler? That was an exciting time for speculating! People were cube playtesting it as a 3/2 for a while. It was savage.
(Which leads to the further amusing thought that Solifuge might not even be good enough for many cubes these days even if it was a 4/3?)
I would probably play a 4/3 version of Solifuge. Fixing the toughness pretty much fixes the major glaring weakness of the card that is probably keeping it out of most cubes. I've always found there are too many boards where Solifuge can't attack through because it dies to so much, and having 3 toughness massively reduces this. Trample/Haste/Shroud is sweet when it doesn't die to pretty much literally everything.

On topic:
This. The various Gods can help with this too. And the gods' artifacts too, like Spear of Heliod and the like.
And a lot of the tribal spells can make an appearance too, like Tarfire and Crib Swap.
Also, cards that function as spells that have another card type, like Seal of Cleansing and Executioner's Capsule, etc. And "freebies" that fill the 'yard like Gitaxian Probe and Mishra's Bauble.
