An X-cost Nissa in Simic? It seems like an interesting Simic ramp card that can smooth your draws pretty well, put fatties from the top of your library onto the battlefield, or just dome your opponnents for 10 in the air for 6GU. May displace Kiora for me.
She's technically a 3-cmc walker at minimum, which is nice. +2: Scry 2 seems really nice and if you ramp enough you can just use her ultimate right away. Being Simic is nice since it's the most shallow guild. May test this over Shardless Agent.
10/10. My favorite simic card, a resilient finisher, a cheap card advantage engine, a card that works together as the spikiest card I've ever seen, I love it.
Kinda neat that her 0 is basically an ultimate ability if she has scryed a bit.
Nice. Interesting card, helps that it has scalability and the 0 ability could be really great. Also like the - ability. I'm not 100% sold, but my instinct is 'yay'. Also it's not like simic is the tightest guild, def have room to test something at minimum.
I personally think this is a slam dunk. She can be dropped on curve anywhere from 3 to 8, functions as a card filtering and card advantage engine, and can win games out of nowhere. Definitely cubing with this over Kiora 2.0.
Been waiting for variety in Simic for a long while now. This is variety. Cool design, too. Works well in Oath / Show and Tell shells. Also the top of library effects in green and with Top. Synergizes well with green's shuffles.
Currently playing Edric, Trygon, and Snake. Just cut Shardless when I cut guilds down. I want to find room to test this. I'm going to find room for Manglehorn, so maybe Trygon can sit out for a while.
I like it much better than the Kioras.
EDIT God damn you autocorrect during passing time.
I can't say I'm pleased to see you and must warn you I may have to do something about it.

Trygon is sweet but it's boom or bust, along with being redundant with the ample mono green artifact destruction. Unless I desperately need an effect, i typically side with the cooler card over the efficient one for multicolored cards, and this is much cooler than Trygon Stupidface.
Love that it plays well with the increasing number of green's look-at-the-top cards. The scry helps get free lands with Oracle of Mul Daya and the Oracle helps know when to fire the 0 ability.
This card is finally making the Simic guild great once again, for the first time in like 5 to 7 years. This seems incredibly strong.
I like the fact that you can just jam it in there for like a bunch of mana and then cheat out stuff for your top library every single turn. Looks absurd! I also like the fact that it's a agressive win-con that counterbalances the slowish ramp archetype in the cube. Topdecking it and beating for 10 in the air seems really powerful. Also, if you drop this down on turn 2 out of a mana dork, you can bash in for 10 damages two time in a row on your turn 8 and turn 9. This looks like a pretty decent turn-2 in a rampy control deck. So many ways this card could become involve into fabulous stories!
With the new Kiki-target that we had in red, we can now cut Bounding Krasis so our Simic guild would now look like this :
And with Vizier of Tumbling Sands for its Time Vault interaction, maybe Kiora's Follower can now go as well. Really interesting.
Nissa would go well in that Bounding Krasis deck too though. Scry 2 to dig for combo pieces and playing Kiki without the RRR cost (corner case) is attractive. Great Oak Guardian is a pretty underappreciated card too.

Good point and I agree! It's simply that we now have enough targetx so weren't force anymore to waste a guild slot for it.
She is a definite yes for me, my Simic section has always felt a bit weak so she should help out their. Being a X costing walker is especially interesting as she can fill any spot of the curve from 3 onwards and can provide a solid amount of value when doing so.
I decided pretty early on to run this over either Shardless Agent or Kiora, Master of the Depths - will probably remove the former. But this to me gets better as a cube card the longer I think about it. The filter engine is stellar (that's been a nice feature of 3 CMC walkers like Saheeli), especially as a +2 uptick. The [-] ability looks very good with a number of commonly played filter/rearranging effects, and reminds me of a better Ashiok. The ultimate is relevant and also provides a sink for big late-game mana, potentially.
My only complaint is that really feels mechanically different from Nissa. I wish this had been another newer 'walker. I have flashbacks to Liliana of the Dark Realms, although not as extreme as that instance.
I really wish I could visualize the average play pattern with this, but there are so many different ways to go here. Playing it for x=1, do you alternate scrys and the zero ability? Or do you just blind zero and hope to turn her into a ramp engine? Do you scry trying to set up a hit off your zero or do you actually bottom stuff? How often are loyalty counters worth the mana? Can the deck that plays this really take advantage of the ultimate? At what point (if any) does blind zero become the correct strategy? Most importantly, does all this nonsense add up to a good card, since it only peripherally protects itself?
There are so many different moving parts to this card that I think we really need play experience before we can make any judgements. I'm encouraged, though.

Depends on hand / scenario:
- Always Scry if X=1 on first turn. Only exception is if you need to YOLO a land off the top because you need 5 mana to cast X next turn or else you just lose the game.
If nothing is threatening Nissa on board next turn:
- Scry if you need to dig for something specific or if land screwed. Should be able to set something up next turn with 5 counters and two instances of Scry 2
- Use 0 ability if you were able to set up land / mana elf for ramp or Sylvan Advocate or something for board presence
This definitely a card I have play to start to get a feel for. It seems like X=1 is fine lots of time. I like scry 2 gain 3 life is the floor here. In generaly being able to fit it in, keep couter magic up or playing a defender the same turn seems easy as well.
The big upsides are in the super ramp and upheaval decks (Desr lord floating mana and dropping this after upheaval seems gross). But there are plenty of band company decks with cheap creatures I want to play for free, or just in random blue decks you drop it the turn you have set up a cheap creature/land on top with another spell to get value right away.

If you drop it early before they can mount pressure it's an excellent card filter engine.
If you top deck it later in the game in a ramp deck, you might just win the game on the spot.
Bad when on the backfoot at all, but a fair price to pay imo for its strengths.
Cool design.. weakest guild by FAR
I can't imagine me testing and cutting it.
