No +1 ocassional card-advantage, but also no forcin you to put as mana creatures in Deck as possible.
The static ability is a HUGE assett here & helps -2. Turns Kird/Loam Lion into 3/3's & Nacatl into 4/3 just for bein around ! +1 depends on Deck i guess. Either ramp or play stuff faster.

Card's certainly good. It's got a static ability that aggro decks want and activated abilities that midrange decks want, which is my only gripe, but it's still a very good card. Might be good enough to push out a card I'm playing now, but we'll see.
Easy include, without a doubt my favorite RG walker for cube. All my favorite RG cards for the format are at 4, yet I still like Huntmaster of the Fells better than any of them, so my cube's been without a walker in this guild for about two years, when ironically, I took out the last 3-mana Domri who was beloved but never quite good enough. Stoked to play with this guy, and that RX token strategies have really been helped by guilds this year with Domri and Judith, the Scourge Diva.
I love this card. It's great in agro, elf based ramp and mid range. and it's a 3cmc gruul card, in a shallow guild
The potential tempo swings it can create are impressive. -2 fight a creature + giving your team an anthem is an incredible agressive steam rolling effect for 3 mana.
Going elf -> domri + elf is also an impressive ramp start, since you essentially deployed a 3 mana planeswalker and have 5 mana sources on the battlefield by turn 2.
That is a pretty absurd t2 ceiling, but that also uses over 50% of the cards you have access too and hence is unlikely to happen often. I think I would be more inclined to play this card if it was a fires of yavimauya variant rather than an anthem. This is a card I could be missing on, but I don't think it breaks into my Gruul section. Will wait to hear how it plays for others.
In our experience Gruul is most shallow guild at 720, so I’m interested in giving this a spin. This card doesn’t have to beat out many of the 4cc options to make it into our Cube.
