IMO, after the OG Rabblemaster, the rest all have their tradeoffs. I go between including 3 or 4 variants. The two must includes are Rabblemaster and Garrison (because human subtheme). I have Najeela and Krenko next. If I were to go down to 3, I would cut Krenko though.
I think in terms of raw damage output, Krenko is the second best after Rabblemaster. I believe wtwlf calculated it out. But, if humans or warriors are important that could be a factor.
No worries! I still think the card is great though. And the damage output goes through the roof with a power boosting card strapped to it, like a Rancor or Bonesplitter.

It's just a very slow card. Sure if it goes completely unchecked it is powerful, but so are a lot of cards. This is powered cube where there are answers immediately and it rarely even gets a chance to attack once.
I'm surprised Krenko hasn't performed for a few, it's been great for us. Maybe not the highest floor of its peers, but overall consistent and relatively survivable. The interaction with equipment, pumps etc. is also a layer more interaction than the Hanweir Garrison etc.

This right here. I play Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin in more aggressive builds, and I usually have bonesplitter or grafted wargear on this guy making the damage output get crazy very quickly. Is he targeted quickly, often yes, but thats ok, I like my 3 drops becoming big threats early.

"It dies to removal" is a legitimate criticism of my 6-mana investments. It's not a hurdle every 3-drop has to leap in order to be good.
