I know it's impossible to compare the cube environment with a pre-release, but the black finale was very strong and the feeling of turning the game around was very nice hahaha
Playing for x = 3 or 4 was able to completely turn the board around several times, or allowed some unexpected final attacks. 3-for-1 was always very strong.
Good but not great. It's not a broken card by any means, but it provides a good rate in terms of P/T to mana cost in multiple places throughout the curve. I like it a bit more than Secure the Wastes overall. And, it's a cool target for Spellseeker.
I disagree in a big way. I think Finale of Devastation is FAR better. That card has been awesome for me so far. No plans on coming close to cutting it.
It's an important card for supporting creature-based combo and synergy decks. Since you don't play any of those, it would make sense that it wasn't good for you.

This was pretty much my experience. Although I do play Kiki-Twin, I don't support it in green at 540 and I don't play things like Melira combo. Being powered also makes this card more appealing since you have access to more free / cheap ramp to mitigate the extra tax.
