Enchantments are generally the most rare permanent type and enchantment removal is the rarest kind of removal (and most of it exiles anyways). I don't see this being too useful in cube unless you support an enchantment theme.
This is such a cool card and it's been a long time coming. My guy reaction is that enchantments don't spend as much time in graveyards as artifacts and creatures. Academy Ruins and Volrath's Stronghold this is not. I'm not super excited about this effect.
This gets back 25 cards, but the only one I'd be particularly excited about combining it with (Pernicious Deed) isn't strong enough of a reason to add this. It'll be cool to toy around with elsewhere, but this won't sneak into my cube list.
The enchantment archetype is harder to build in cube than I'd like. There are a lot of cards like this that are only useful in that archetype, making it kinda parasitic. This is a cool addition though, and pushes enchantments in a different direction with the recursion.
And yeah, that's a dumb name. Why not just "Hall of Heliod"?
Even with three slots for a white utility land in a dedicated Land module, I don't want this. I don't think it's better than Windbrisk Heights or Kor Haven for cube (if anyone disagrees, feel free to discuss), and those are already on the chopping block. I would LOVE some sort of Red aligned utility land though, and hope they keep making interesting choices.
If we see more Sagas at some point its usefulness could increase by quite a bit. Sagas in general work really well with this! Otherwise it's not really something to consider I believe.
Does this card push people to play a few more self sacrificing enchantment like the seals?
Well, no ...considering my interest in cubing this card is at like a 0%, it certainly doesn't inspire me to want to change my cube for it.
Most cubes supporting a really deep enchantment theme (one that would be deep enough to warrant considering playing this card) are already using most of the playable spell-enchantments.
Recently, Sagas like Elspeth Conquers Death and The Eldest Reborn have attracted a considerable amount of attention on this forum, so I thought I might bring this card up for discussion. While I don't think enchantments are deep enough to make Hall of Heliod's Generosity a big roleplayer, I think it is only a matter of time until critical mass is reached. The synergy with Sagas is obviously that they naturally end up in the graveyard, and I myself started looking at cards like Doom Foretold to simultaneously give the Stax-archetype some needed fresh cards and bolster the use of this utility-land. Bringing back a Treachery or an Oblivion Ring from the graveyard is also a nice move, but is far from making this land viable.
I think this land will get better and better, all depending on how many enchantments they print that can take over key-roles in cube and also have some way of landing in the graveyard.
Well... I have it in my cube at 580 and it's useful in only a very limited amount of decks. It's mostly there to ensure some gas for white in attrition wars (the cube is mostly played in multiplayer pods).
Consider Academy Rector and some enchantments creatures (like Spirit of the Labyrinth, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Nightmare Shepherd, Purphoros, God of the Forge and Courser of Kruphix) as well as regular enchantments in each color. I have only 8-10 per color at 580 and it still shows of to be relevant. You just need 2 good enchantments like Sacred Mesa and Parallax Wave in your deck and it will be worth to pick Hall. In this case, it's like a more limited Academy Ruins. The star of the pack is of course Volrath's Stronghold.
In a powered cube, Hall is too slow. By far. But if you have a midrange cube, multiplayer cube or a heavy enchantment theme, it's cubeable.

Dude has a lot of halls I guess, haw many churches are dedicated to the virgin mary etc.
On a more serious note I do agree its weird, it's not like we will get a cycle of "Hall of Heliod's [Blank]"... or will we.
