I like the idea of ranking them in their own list too.

I play conspiracies but any un-cards. IDK how many voters you would get for such a list.

If someone else wants to do a quick addendum for conspiracy/unglued when this concludes that would be okay. I'm going to stick with the categories I have already laid out.

It means they aren't included in the ranking project I am currently doing. I don't think there is nearly as much interest in that list. I have run conspiracies < 10 times and don't run any un-cards/holiday promos. If someone else wants to do this add-on module right after this concludes, that's fine. It shouldn't be very difficult given that it is likely to get far less votes.

I think "the Conspiracy Module" is something many cube owners play around with for a while, then give up on. Other than just completionism, I see no real reason to rank them.

What I mean, is that it doesn't say in your prompt that those kinds of cards are supposed to be excluded. I'm not asking about a separate list, I'm asking about integrating those cards into your current lists. If you don't want people to be able to vote on Un- cards and stuff, you might want to specifically disallow it.

yeah its hard without having thousands of data entries. Also because this is specific to my own cube, maybe the mono white aggro decks are better supported than the types of decks where balance is supported.

That's the thing, I legitimately would rank aggro cards above Balance for precisely the reason stated (without referencing recorded data -- done that, it is just too volatile and sneakily subjective). Although ultimately my contention is that very few people actually know how to maximize Balance.

I didn't list holiday promos I guess, but yeah...I covered this already even if I didn't state it in this thread.

So far we have had 16 voters and 52 cards have been voted for. For comparison in 2016 there were 34 voters and 56 cards received votes. Still got plenty of time to get in on this though!

So all the drafts matters cards are supposed to be voted on then? Since they're not conspiracies or Un- cards? For future threads, "Vintage Legal" is a nice clean way to illustrate this (unless you want Holiday promos, dexterity cards and ante cards to be included). Just a suggestion.

I think things stopped being "just a suggestion" a long time ago.

Everything I've offered has been suggestions. But thanks for the awesome contribution to the discussion!

I mean yeah, we're being a bit pedantic again as cube designers are want to do, but I don't mind the suggestion. I'm giving y'all a grouphug deck to play commander with. I also already addressed draft matters cards I believe having stated that Paliano Vanguard can be voted on. Who is seriously going to troll us by listing a bunch of ante/dexterity cards (and here comes that guy...lol).

I shot out a few messages this morning to past participants who still appear to be active to try to boost our participation numbers a bit. There has been a bit of a slowdown and I'd like to get more involvement! If you know cube designers that would like to participate please spread the word! We still have two days to go! Let's try to get 30 voters!

You should reach out to the subreddit, too. There are a lot of active users over there.

I can send out a small signal boost on Twitter; it might snag a couple of extra voters.

We're up to 26 voters! That's great! If we can get 10 more before end of day we will actually have more people involved than 2016 which would be pretty cool! Thanks again everyone for all the efforts to get the word out! I'm going to start compiling the data tomorrow morning and will likely have the results for this one on Saturday since my Sunday is ridiculously busy with our final show, striking the set, and cast party.

Friendly Reminder, Unset cards cannot be voted upon so Clocknapper isn't eligible for Blue. Thanks!

We are at 17 voters so far. I believe 2016 had 29 voters. We have 2 days to close the gap! I will message people who participated for White but haven't yet voted for blue. If anyone else has a way to get the word out it would be much appreciated!

Also @ MikeT. You will only have a top 19 if you don't edit your vote as clocknapper is ineligible. I will still count your vote, but everything below Clocknapper will move up a slot and you won't have a 20th card.

I don't intend to start calculating at the stroke of midnight, but tomorrows votes aren't assured to be counted once I'm too far into compiling the results. We're at 24 so far I think, just 5 shy of last time! Let's close that gap and show those 2016 people....er....many of whom were also us...but disregard that and show em' anyway!
