Probably missed a few! I'm running a 360/powered cube, and I'm happy there are multiple cards worthy of inclusion and testing, although the set overall seems more aimed at big battlecruiser Magic. Also, I'm worried that the Companions may prove too powerful for many cubes.
I was just about to make this thread. Less work for me! I have a 500 card unpowered cube.
In Heartless Act - It's a better Go For the Throat. Has more targets overall and can even have some unexpected synergies with creatures that want to lose counters. I can't justify edicts anymore with the possible exception of Liliana's Triumph. Diabolic Edict is getting the chop. Lutri, the Spellchaser - Unlike Lurrus, I think this is the real deal. Izzet is a shallow guild and I won't miss Electrolyze at all for this. Its companion clause is guaranteed in most cubes so it's basically a guaranteed 8th card in every opening hand that is easily cast in any red and/or blue deck and is likely the most playable fork variant we are ever going to get for cube on top of just being a serviceable creature at its absolute worst. Vivien, Monsters' Advocate- Protects itself and grants flexibility in the creatures you create with it, provides potential card advantage, lets you (and you only) see your upcoming draws. Like Lukka it is all about that second loyalty ability though. Only Vivien's affect doesn't polymorph+, it lets you search your deck for any creature costing less than the one you cast and puts it on the battlefield...that is insane value, flexibility, and a huge boon to creature combo centered strategies. The Green Walkers are all pretty solid but Nissa, Worldwaker can be cut for a walker of this caliber.
Testing Fiend Artisan - Feel strongly that this will make it in, but the cut is tough here. Trophy, Pulse, and Garruk are safe, so it is between Life // Death which is a pet card that I love for its reanimator support or its unwitting 1 mana go wide and kill mode or Abrupt Decay which is another extremely efficient Golgari permanent killing spell. Luminous Broodmoth- Another card I'm fairly confident will make the cut. The competition at this slot is fierce though. I'm probably going to slot this in place of God-Eternal Oketra instead. Lurrus of the Dream-Den - Card seems a bit overrated to me, especially if you're trying to run it as a companion. Maybe powered builds have more tricks with this (Black Lotus comes to mind)? Orzhov is not so shallow a guild that a 3CC lifelinker that trades down with one drops and might occasionally let you pay to recast your extremely low cost permanents from the graveyard is a slam dunk. I easily prefer Sorin (LOI), Vindicate, and Lingering Souls, Anguished Unmaking and Tidehollow Sculler are about on par with this for me. Worth testing, but 1st impression is lukewarm. Neutralize - 3CC counters are not highly desirable, but when you have the added flexibility of being able to cycle them it might be worth giving it a shot. Though I'm not sure this is better than Supreme Will which has been on the cusp of inclusion into my cube for a while now.
Watching Flame Spill - My gut says Super-Duper Death Ray black border style isn't pushed enough to make the cut. Still curious to hear about other's results with this. Hope to see this effect return Gemrazer - The games where this snipes your opponents mana rock off of a turn 1 elf will be great. Though I think its just as likely that you have to ramp into this guy without a target and then have to choose between attacking or ramping and risk getting 2-for-1'd against removal. Pair that with a very average hard-casting cost and almost no other cubeable mutate cards and I think this is a clear miss. Kogla, the Titan Ape - A trample away from being tested. ETB fight and artifact/enchantment removal on attack is big game, but the activated ability requiring both 2 mana and a human to bounce is a problem. Add in no trample and this is on the outside looking in. Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast - This card is really all about that second ability. The first ability is a craptastic Light up the Stage impression. Polymorphing up is powerful and will sometimes in the right deck be game winning, but the random nature of the effect and having to exile your creature to trade up means I can't even see this unseating Koth of the Hammer in my cube. Shark Typhoon - Maybe it's just the (cube buzzword incoming!) additive distraction, but I'm not wild about this card on first glance. It feels like a bad Hydroid Krasis. I appreciate that it is monocolor, has flash, and once in a great while being uncounterable will come into play, but its not the stabilizing play I want in my blue decks and is just a little too fair for my taste. Weaponize the Monsters- the jump from 1 to 2 damage is huge. Purphoros, God of the Forge is considered a cube all-star by many. Impact Tremors? Not so much. That said the 2 activation cost is 1 to much. If this were 1 I would have run this immediately. Wilt - Does a cycling Naturalize add enough additional value to get people to remove Nature's Chant? I think for now I prefer the hybrid card since it lets me consolidate two slots into one, but with some strong reviews I could be persuaded to test this.
Overall not a ton of inclusions, but a stronger showing then Theros. Appreciate that every color is represented in the IN or Testing categories. I'm disappointed that there isn't a single "fatty" from this set that merits inclusion in cube. Mutate just isn't terribly cube friendly and most of the "best" creatures in Ikoria work around that mechanic. This looks like a great set to draft....hopefully we'll be able to do this in person again soon.
In:
Heartless Act -> Will most likely play alongside Go for the Throat.
Luminous Broodmoth -> Just great all around.
Lutri, the Spellchaser -> Condition always applies in singleton cubes. Will hopefully make Izzet more attractive.
Shark Typhoon -> The Cycle Mode is great.
Vivien, Monster's Advocate -> Like her way more than all her CMC5 Nissa alternatives.
Wilt -> Will become the sole green Disenchant/Naturalize. Nature's Chant replaced Disenchant in White. Love that it is never is a dud.
Testing:
Fiend Artisan -> Will test in place of Vraska, Golgari Queen.
Rielle, the Everwise -> Hopefully pushes Izzet, Spells matter as well as wacky discard strategies? Who knows.
Watchlist / not sure:
Bastion of Remembrance -> Nice synergy card with Aristocrats, Persist, Tokens, Staxx,...
Kogla, the Titan Ape -> Still seems nice in all sorts of cheat archetypes.
Sprite Dragon -> Imho the best drake yet. Got pushed out by the other 2 Izzet cards in the set.
Looked interesting, but won't cube:
Lurrus of the Dream-Den -> I really do not want to give people the opportunity to screw up in the building process. If they make a mistake and the mistake is discovered, all games against that deck are invalidated and everyone feels bad. Pass.
Voracious Greatshark -> Really needed to counter unconditionally.
Other notes:
Mutate doesn't interest me at all.
The Companion mechanic seems like a judge nightmare. Is the player using the companion supposed to present the contents of their deck to their opponent beforehand? How do they prove they are eligible to use the companion? The same seems true for casual environments to a degree. Will pass on everything but Lutri for this reason.

Good question, I guess if your opponent is running Lurrus in Companion mode and then throws down a 3 cmc permanent you bring it up then?

Wouldn't this issue also arise with banned cards or multiples beyond 4? In a tournament, every decklist has to be checked, so I don't see an issue there.
Admitted, for Cube it is a bit annoying.

It is actually an unfounded concern. There are many ways in which your opponent could currently mess up that are simply taken for granted -- they could play <40 cards, in constructed they could include a card x5, and so on (a glaring one being the morph ability)

Played in plenty of tournaments where decks weren't checked..

That's the intent. They made it so that all the companions are something where, if you're opponent plays a thing that doesn't fit, it's obvious and you can bring it up right then. So you'd say something if your opponent plays a 3 cmc permanent in Lurrus, or if your opponent plays a second copy of something in Lutri.
Yeah I think the rules concerns with companion are a bit overblown. You won't be able to play any of the cards that break the rule anyway for companion without it being obvious you're cheating, so what's the point? There are only two potential issues I think.
First, the Otter. Yeah, maybe someone will try and cheat by putting in 2 copies of a great spell knowing they will only ever play one if they draw both, but giving them a better chance to draw at least one copy. However, there are hand reveal effects and mill effects, so this is still pretty risky to do for not a ton of upside.
Genuine mistakes. If a person accidentally puts a card in their deck that they can't, and its regular REL, I assume there's some way to fix it with a warning, not a game loss (I'm not a judge, but can't you bottom the card and draw another or something? What would happen at regular REL if you shuffled your opponent's pacifism into your deck, for instance?). If someone messes up companion at a competitive event, well, that's on them.
As for worrying about it for cube, are any of us playing non-digital competitive cube events? Just let them fix it after that game.
I'm not really worried about folks trying to cheat with Lurrus - it's a chilled out format and I would only be cubing with folks I know and trust anyway. As for competitive formats there are probably easier ways to attempt to cheat in deckbuilding.
I'm really blown away by all these lovely cycling cards when I just took a dive into including a cycling theme maybe 6 months ago. As a result, there are tons of cards I'm interested in, which surprised me because I really was NOT digging this set before some of these cards were spoiled.
A lot on my list will be very experimental, so, I think it's safe to say most cards that aren't exceedingly popular here will not last very long. Nevertheless, giving all of these a shot:
I am sure that Lurrus will make the list as a solid include, only reason it is the in the testing category is because my group is skeptical of it. I think it is nuts, and am excited to get to toss it in Cube. I am pretty sure the others will stick and I love how well my Izzet section is final rounding out. I can only hope that Simic and Boros will eventually round out this well.

So all spoilers are done, and all that remains is the big spoiler dump tomorrow. This time, however, they've kept a few spicy cards for the end! Taken from this post by /u/Ninjaboi333
There are FIVE rares left to be spoiled
Mythos of Illuna (blue)
Black Rare
Temur Ultimatum
Sultai Enchantment
WU Companion
There are FOUR uncommons left to be spoiled
Blue Keyword Cycle Counter Creature
Blue Keyword Mentor
Blue Uncommon
Green Uncommon
Otherwise, it will mostly be commons left. I'm not incredibly hopeful for anything good, but we'll wait and see!
Am I the only one who was very disappointed with the set? Don't like the flavor at all, and the only card that might interest me is the 2 cc black removal.
Agreed. There is plenty of stuff that is fine. Nissa looks good but not better than the Nissa who shakes the world. Wilt is ok but I have dumped naturalize anyway for all creature based removal. Sharknado is good enough but in no way necessary. I like spells decks but it will never actually play out as the enchantment. There are a few more I might try like broodthmoth and Rielle which are good at a certain thing and would be fun but it is unlikely to be hugely impactful.
I am interested in the tricycle lands. Anyone else going to play those. I think I might hack my land section to get them in.

I am going to test them for sure. I think I'll cut evolving wilds & grand Colosseum, then find 3 more cuts in my colorless section. Just put them in my colorless/5c section.
We have decided that at this point we will not support the companion mechanic. We currently have a banned list of 11 cards, no Conspiracy, and no Un-cards. While the companions are a gray area of being very powerful constructed-legal cards, in general I do not believe they would be well-received by our player base which is both old school and competitive. I think people will be frustrated losing to what feels like a free commander for one player at the table.
I feel fairly confident in most of these adds with the exception of Slippery Bogbonder. That addition is mostly experimental.
