If you've followed constructed magic in the past few weeks, you'd have known how absurdly dominant this card has been.
I've played with it a LOT... It's busted. Uro+, Oko- power level.
However, unlike those card, Omnath is clearly poorer suited to cube than those cards I mentioned. The mana cost is brutal for cube and you need explore/fetch lands to activate it's best ability (the mana ability).
I'm of the believe that Omnath would require a special cube to be good (great fixing, potentially double fetches), but in that cube it could be quite good.
I've ran Breya for 3+ years now, and in my cube, the card is a power house and nowhere near the chopping block. Large sample... but I wouldn't recommend it unless your cube has borderline too much fixing. I expect omnath to be the same.
Thanks for making this thread! I was considering it.
I certainly this this is a stronger cube card than Breya, which is also a good card.
I think comparables are Leovold, Emissary of Trest and Nicol Bolas, the Ravager.
I would put this card right alongside those two in terms of power-level in cube, with Omnath simply having a bit more variance (could be better or worse depending on the cube construction) than those two slightly more generically good options.
It definitely has the most upside and I'd love to find room in my cube for it
4 color is too narrow for something that isn't really a cheaty target. Omnath really benefits from the non-singleton nature of constructed (multiple fetches / Lotus Cobra / Uro / Omnath. I've cut all true 3-color cards over the years except for Sphinx of the Steel Wind, so a 4-5 color card has no chance for me unless it's a really strong cheaty face hit.
I also have 5 rainbow mana dorks includong Dryad of the Ilysian Grove
(I won't include natural order/ Turntimber Symbiosis but you get the idea)
I've splashed Kiki-Jiki into a Bant pod deck with the intention if primarily using a creature tutor to put him into play, or Llysian to help cast Kiki-Jiki. I think the card is definitely worth a slot in these toolbox decks.

Any thoughts on this card from those who have played it?
I feel like with all the green mana fixing available and the tri-lands, getting this card out is not as hard as it seems.
Obviously this card is dominant in Pioneer and Modern - while worse in cube this is probably the best X=4 Green Sun's Zenith target in the game by some margin.
I think the card is most viable in 360 where the fetchland density is strongest (plus Prismatic Vista / Fabled Passage).
It was hard to get our group to put it in their decks, as the general consensus is that the payoff of the card is not worth the 4-color effort. I do think that most cubes have the mana to support it in theory, but the question is if the card is powerful enough to justify building around or warping your manabase to support, and I’m not sure that it is.
