I'm quite surprised no one has started a thread regarding this beast of card for MTG cube. The World Tree is basically a free Chromatic Lantern and it can enable decks on its own, just like Gaea's Cradle or Tolarian Academy. I know the comparison seems farfetched but there are a few cards in the cube that ask for 5-color fixing and they could be getting a lot better thanks to The World Tree.
The last ability seems to put players off the card since cubes don't necessarily play a lot of God cards but I wouldn't look at the ability too much. It could even be flavour text and the card would still do a lot of work.
The only issue I find is trying to squeeze in my Lands section which has grown quite a lot in the last years, thanks to cards such as Fabled Passage or Prismatic Vista, or even the Pathway cycle which has proven to be quite good for the cube.
What do you guys think? Is it going to work in cubes or is too clunky, too slow or too weird?
If the Chromatic Lantern effect had a lower threshold (like 4 lands), then I'd be interested. Usually the fixing pinch points occur well before I have six lands in play, so I'm not sure how much help it would be providing.
It's an ETB tapped land that only fixes when you have 5 other lands. Usually you've found your colors by then. Last ability is irrelevant. I think this is worse than every 5 color producing land.
It enters tapped and doesn't provide the fixing effect until you have 6+ lands out. And the activated ability just isn't relevant. I don't think this looks like something I would be willing to draft from a cube pack. Maybe in multiplayer cubes that are more likely to hit the 6+ land requirement? In a slower environment, that threshold (and the ETBT clause) will be easier to swallow maybe? IDK.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't really see this one for my cube.
I like this card. The ten mana ability might do something once in a blue moon, and six lands isn't hard to get to. The more Joiner Adept abilities, the better. I support five-color stuff as a deck. I'm all about it. I didn't figure most people would be interested though, and the above two comments sum up why.
If I open a copy, I'll gladly play the card, but I won't seek it out unless it's under two dollars.

I feel the same way - I don't see anything in this card for cube and don't see myself picking this over anything.
