Dragonkin Berserker
This has to be somewhat interesting. First strike makes it more resilient to trades and if brickwalled it can still upgrade itself to a dragon.
I'm also curious enough about it to give it a whirl - some folks compared it to that RR creature that makes dragons but didn't end up working too well - we'll see!
I do not think this is nearly as good as Dragonmaster Outcast but I pulled that guy a while ago because it never worked. (Does not bode well for this new option..)

While there are definitely some obvious comparisons I think these will play differently. You play dragonmaster outcast in a deck that is designed to get to 6 lands. You play this as flood insurance in an aggro deck that isn't supposed to get past 4 mana. This can still swing in and be difficult to block in the early game where dragonmaster outcast is a big doodoo head that cant do anything, and for that reason I think it aligns much better with traditional red aggro decks and should be much stronger.
I'm almost certainly swapping this guy for Aether Chaser in my low power list. I don't have token synergies in red, really, so Chaser is just a RDW beater. I like how this guy kind of gives RDW beat down decks some inevitability if the game goes longer than you want or you see more lands that you'd like.
I'll be playing this, I'm sure. It's an aggro beater that also plays well in non-aggressive decks. First strike is excellent on defense, and a bit of late-game action is very welcome on a cheap creature.
I'm really not interested in cards that are only for aggro, so I like this better than a lot of red two-drops people play.
This card is basically a 2/2 first strike for 2 that has "4R, sac, make a 5/5 flyer." There are some games where you will be able to attack with this more than once, but there are also some games where this gets killed before combat on the turn you have access to 5 mana, so I consider that a wash.
So, if you're looking for a low-tier aggro 2-drop (low tier for cube at least - my red 2's are much better than the front half of this card) that has way more potency in the late game than most other aggro 2's, this gives you that. I don't think it's something I want, though. If it was a 2/2 haste instead of first strike, then we'd be talking.

Interesting for a lowered powered cube.
