This does a lot of things, but the lack of being really good of at least one of them means this card really doesn't have a home for me since I really.
- Zombie matters type cards are usually best in aggressive shells, but this card isn't particularly aggressive at all. Menace would've gone a long way over deathtouch in aggro.
- It's a nice filler card for Recurring Nightmare since it's a decent roadblock and fills the graveyard in a pinch. Probably would struggle from making the cut in most decks though.
- Fueling Delve is cool, but I'm probably not playing this in decks alongside my Delve cards.
I can't see this for high powered environments, but for cubes that focus a lot on specific archetypes like zombies / lifegain / blink / etc, this card can do a lot of work.
I quite like the card as it stands, simply because the versatility of the card is something I like to see in my powerful (but non-power) Cube. I actually see it somehow as a control card, since it provides an early deadly blocker while potentially advancing my gameplan into the later stages by either setting up the graveyard for reanimation or delving, preventing myself from getting Brainstorm-locked and netting me some life.
The 1 point of toughness speaks against the role of it being like a Wall of Omens, but I believe it is comparable to Lone Missionary and I will definetly test it.

Mire Triton
This isn't the most exciting card at first glance, but I think it does a lot of good things in cube.
-Lifegain in Black helps offset Bitterblossom, Dark Confidant, Thoughtseize, Necropotence, etc.
-It's a Zombie for Gravecrawler, The Scarab God, Kalitas, and Cryptbreaker
-The self-mill can work well with Black's low-costed recursive creatures, and a lucky mill might even set up a powerful turn 3 Recurring Nightmare play
-A 2-power with Deathtouch is decent both as an attacker and a blocker
It also has some synergies outside of black
-Blue: Dig Through Time, Search for Azcanta, Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, Snapcaster Mage
-Green: Sylvan Library, Oracle of Mul Daya, Courser of Kruphix
-White: Lingering Souls, Reveillark, Sun Titan, Blink/Flicker effects
-Red: Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, Faithless Looting, Firebolt, Grim Lavamancer

My High Octane Unpowered Cube on CubeCobra
Probably too low impact , but it’s an interesting role player.
doubt I’ll test , but I expect it to be better than it looks. If only it were 3 life or 3 cards etc.
