Mythos of Vadrok deals 5 damage divided as you choose among any number of target creatures and/or planewalkers. If WU was spent to cast this spell, until your next turn, those permanents can't attack or block and their activated abilities can't be activated.

This looks amazing! I feel bad for Cube owners with more stringent color definitions. This is very much a red card, like Najeela.

I like it, but I am not sure I will be cubing this. doing 4 damage and being able to hit players would have been better imo.

Ehhh, the mono-R version is pretty meh (sorcery speed and not to face), and I don't even know how much better the jeskai version is as that effect is really only good if you're racing.

I think 4 damage plus player option would make it better in red aggro, but as it is the extra damage gives you more flexibility in killing more targets which should prove to be better in the aggregate if red is doing more than aggro in your Cube. Think about killing an X/1 and 2 X/2s, or a planeswalker and one creature. The 5 splittable damage is going to lead to more blowouts.

This card does not look good to me. In both the mono red mode and as a card with a WURR cost, it feels super underwhelming. Needed to hit players if it's going to cost 4 mana in the cube.

This or that, Mythos of Vadrok would be better than Magmatic Sinkhole ?

violent eruption is a card already and has madness and is instant speed. Triple red can be tough but it is con color. and I played it for a long time at the beginning of my cube. I think Fiery Confluence took its spot.

I actually think 4 mana for 5 divided damage is pretty good, considering we have 3 mana for 3 divided Flames of the Firebrand.

If it was 4 mana for 5 divide between players and creatures, I think its might make the cut. But otherwise, I'm going to pass.
