Wow this is disgusting. At 2G it’s mostly better than rec sage (Same power, more toughness, more bodies, 2 lifegain) and the 4G mode of killing two permanents+making 4 guys can be extremely good. Bigger options can be quite relevant in G too, and being up to is clutch.
Instant staple at all sizes powered, unpowered might depend more on your environment but the token component alone is decently costed somas long as you have one target you feel quite good about it at amount of mana.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
A Disenchant version of Release the Gremlins? Sounds nice, but my understanding is that being a sorcery and not being playable when there was no legal targets were huge drawbacks for RtG. My gut tells me that hitting more targets and spreading the stats over more bodies is enough to overcome those drawbacks (and adding more spells to Green is nice), but I wouldn't replace Reclamation Sage or Manglehorn for it.

You can play this with no targets, since it's 'up to'

This destroys up to X targets, and always makes twice X tokens. So even with only 1 target, you can still pay 6G for this and make 6 bodies and Naturalize something. And this is playable on an empty board as a pseudo Secure the Wastes kind of card. This thing is pretty nuts.

I completely missed that! That is insane. I LOVE THIS.
Great card for Tempo decks, token decks and ramp decks.
I really hope it doesn't see legacy play ... my affinity deck has enough trouble as it is.

This is so cool, definitely great power level, and fun flavor to boot. Overlooked this on my pass of today‘s spoilers and I’m glad I checked here. I saw the double X and sort of dismissed it, but this looks great! Maybe the first solid XX staple? Release the Gremlins saw a little play for me, but ended up cut. I don’t imagine even smaller powered cubes cutting this for awhile.
Amazing!
Different than Reclamation Sage, but still amazing.
I have found Rec Sage to be extremely good for toolbox decks due to being a tutorable and recurrable creature with Green Sun's Zenith, Recruiter of the Guard, Fiend Artisan, Sevinne's Reclamation or any reanimation spell, so that is definetly not the cut for me. In the same vein, I like Eternal Witness better than Regrowth.
Nonetheless, this card is amazing!
I will cut Wilt for this.
Can't really add anything that's not been said already - nothing not to like about this, aside from perhaps the missed opportunity to call it 'Inpestation'.
Great rate at 2G mana equivalent to a Reclamation Sage, amazing rate at 4G mana, and not having to have the targets makes it definitely better than Release the Gremlins, which was already a decent card.
I feel sorry for the people who like to jam artifact.dec, as this is going in my cube and I'm not apologizing.
I was thinking the same thing, but then again, I think there should be some price to pay for playing with moxen.

This is one of the reasons I added Nature's Claim to my 540. I thought the lifegain made it unplayable but having a 1 mana instant speed answer as a naturalize with virtually zero downside has been worth it. I'm glad to have the Claim alongside this new card.
New card can really blow out the artifact heavy decks but by the time it gets online for a ton of destruction it will be late game.

If Nature's Claim was a white card, I prob have it in my cube. But I like the Reclamation sage variants a bit more + Collector Ouphe.

Well this is a slam dunk. Yeah, you can't zenith/survival/recurring nightmare it, but the fact that it can just hit multiple targets, is so much better in play, and can just be a bad token maker when that's what you want makes it better than rec sage.
God damn, green is by far the hardest color to break in our cube, I seriously have no idea what to cut for this. We recently re-added Sakura-Tribe Elder (among a couple other cards) to help bolster support for the RG Wildfire decks, but this card looks awesome and might force the swap. I don't know what else could possibly be the cut, but that one definitely doesn't feel good. This isn't a creature so its way worse than Reclamation Sage, but that card is so great that I'd have to imagine this card is probably still good enough.
We haven't cubed in like a month so we haven't actually updated the list in a while, but we already have the swaps lined up that we wanted to do. Thankfully none of the swaps we cared about were green, but this really throws a wrench in things.
Seems very comparable to Reclamation Sage! Does a great Secure the Wastes impression too.

I'd rather not cut Wilt, since it's such a good Disenchant/Naturalize variant, but let's see.
