For what it's worth, I also always read and look forward to your in depth update articles. My low power list has your larger 720 list and explanations on card choices to thank for a lot of cards that I maybe wouldn't have thought to include in such a list. I hope you keep doing these.
I want to second what Calibretto said - I spend a lot of time reading and re-reading your content.
Random question if you see this... How has Eldrazi Displacer been? Does the average deck have enough colorless sources to support it? Considering adding it in our next update.

One of our players really likes Eldrazi Displacer. It is seldom played by others. Displacer requires some building around but 2-3 sources are enough. Sometimes a Wastes is added, but I have not seen the use of more than a single one in a long time. The rest of the sources are usually from (of-color) painlands, signets, utility lands etc. Displacer was rarely left in the sideboard when it was drafted, it is fairly easy to accommodate.
I'd say Displacer is a fun build-around. It is not a powerhouse. I don't think I'd play it unless the group showed interest, but I don't think it is underpowered or parasitic either.
Agreed with rant. I don't care for the Broodmoth cut either. Even more so, I'd prefer Basri's Lieutenant to Emiel. I also think I'd cut Shalai over the moth, especially if you hadn't gotten much play time with the moth yet.

How has Broodmoth played for you?
Emiel was added because Eldrazi Displacer is a huge fan favorite here. I agree it is not up there by power level merits, and I don't advocate others to add him/her.
I've done exactly zero cubing since adding Broodmoth. It looks great. I'm excited to see it in action. Emiel just looks kinda average to me. I think the moth and the lieutenant look better than the unicorn.
Emiel has two words that Displacer doesn't that makes it a bit worse, imo: you control. Displacer held its slot for so long here because it not only enabled the fun blink deck, but could also muck up combat by blinking out an attacker. It could also blink out your stolen creatures to get them back. Emiel can certainly be fun in the right value shell, but that's really all it has going. Not to say you shouldn't run the unicorn if you think your group will enjoy it. Unicorns are sweet and blinking value dorks is sweet. I just don't think it's close to Displacer's power level in cube.
As to the moth, I've also not gotten any reps in with it. I got together with a few friends that I felt comfortable with and cubed at my house a couple weeks ago, but it was only four of us and unfortunately the moth never came up. I have, however, played with Shalai and based on my experience with her, I'd say she's a better cut than the moth. Shalai was mostly medium as far as value for cost and was almost never activated for the pump ability. I'd much rather have the potential sweet value that the moth might provide than the medium protection that I know I'll get from Shalai.
Hi Metamind, I regularly use your Cube as inspiration because it seems that we have similar lists. I'm wondering if you could give feedback on Rimrock Knight. My playgroup suggested it, and it was mostly dismissed on these forums when it came out - however I noticed that it's not even listed as 'weak' in your list. Thanks in advance!
Rimrock Knight is a fine dude. The better lines of play with it are:
T1 one drop, T2 pump + another one drop
Turn three and up, playing both the pump and the body
The catch is that the body is quite weak for a two-drop. Overall it is a card that always tables and is about the 4th worst red two-drop we play. This gives Knight some longevity, and it is not currently on the chopping block, hence it is not marked as 'weak'. I do think Knight is more interesting than most two drops and has surprising synergies, which are slight points in its favor.
Looking at your list, I might play him over Abbot, Stormblood Berserker, or eventually Kargan Intimidator (I have little testing but low expectations).
How do you feel about Power Play, Advantage Proclamation and Double Stroke?
I found them to be a bit too powerful and heavily favored black based tutor decks. How did you feel?

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see your response. Black is widely accepted as the weakest color in this cube. Double Stroke feels broken to me, I constantly first pick it. It sometimes pops up often in decks that only have "fair" targets, such as a double removal spell. Players here think it is fun and want to keep it.
Power Play is best in aggro decks by far, although a high pick in general. I like it, as it adds consistency in a way that feels fair - you could always be lucky and be the starting player without it (yes, Power Play does more, but not a whole lot more). Advantageous Proclamation is a much lower pick; it allows you to shave two spells from your deck in one pick, but that's it. Decking is sometimes relevant, and some cards mill or care about how many cards you have in your library, such as Shelldock Isle. Figuring out land ratios is difficult with this conspiracy.
