My powered cube is in full swing now and it's prety busted, but something I've found is that I don't often get to draft it with more than 2 players and when I do have a bunch of friends around it takes a long time to do a full draft and all the matches.
My solution? An EDH cube! My thinking is that most of my friends play EDH already and once we've drafted we can all play one big multiplayer game which takes less time and is less hassle than 3 or 4 rounds of individual games. A side bonus is that someone doesn't have to sit out each round if we have an odd number of players.
This is my first draft and I'm posting it up so I can get some advice before I start sourcing all the cards I'll need. I know there's at least 3 other EDH cubes on the go and many more multiplayer focused ones, so hopefully those with some experience can share some of their learnings.
Something I've noticed is that my list is quite tight and I can't find room for some cards which are commonly found in EDH such as lands like the colourless lands Ancient Tomb and Temple of the False God. After testing I may find cuts for these types of effects but I decided to start out with less of the generically good cards for some more fun and specific cards so see if the latter can work.
The other EDH cubes are a lot bigger than mine, between 600 - 750 cards but I think 4 players will be my common group and this list supports up to 6 allowing a 75 card pool per player, which seemed in line with others.
I look forward to any thoughts people have.

Each player will draft a pool of generals first, followed by a more traditional drafting of a 61 card deck. This allows the players several options while drafting the main cube, should one of their colours be cut. There are, technically, two cubes. The 40 card General cube, and a more traditional 450 card cube.
I chose not to include mono-coloured generals in this pool as they are very narrow and I could see them rarely being able to be built around. However, there are mono-coloured Legends in the main cube pool and these (and other legends) may be chosen as General if desired.
Looks like a pretty polished list; I don't have much to say as far as card selection is concerned. Be sure to post a session report or two, and let us know any observations, questions, or concerns that pop up. Great job!
I think you need to reclassify crypt ghast as an orzhov card. The extort cost unfortunately thrusts it into the W/B color identity.

I can't remember who, but one of the EDH cuber employs a less strict rule regarding colour identity and allows the use of hybrid cards in half mis-matched colours. I was considering allowing the same for added flexibility.
Even If I don't I might allow the ghast as a mono-black card, will have to think about it.
Might take a while to put this cube together as I've made some other purchases recently so need to clear the bills first. Will definitely update with play info once the cubes underway.
I'll take a closer look at this when I get some free time, but I am popping in to say that according to official EDH Rules Council ruling, Extort has no effect on color identity, as the colored mana symbols only exist in the reminder text (this is also why Trinisphere is not black). So Crypt Ghast is just B, Blind Obedience is just W, and Treasury Thrull is BW.
Generals:
I dislike Ulasht, the Hate Seed, and was only running him until something better came along. I believe that Borborygmos Enraged is that something better. Maybe you've had better experience with Ulasht than I have, but no one seemed to like him very much.
I find Momir Vig, Simic Visionary to be clunky and awkward. Edric, Spymaster of Trest isn't amazing without 1cmc creature support, but he does fare better than Vig does, at least in my opinion (and Theogony IX will back me up here if he shows up) Rith, the Awakener is another very clunky dude. I love Hazezon Tamar infinitely more in this slot; He was also like my third EDH general ever built, but even discounting that influence on me he's a lot better for token decks.
White: Serra Ascendant is notably absent. Is this because you don't like his effect in EDH? I realize he is very over the curve, but white needs a lot of help IMO.
In a smaller cube like this, i would likely stray away from Emeria, the Sky Ruin, as monocolored decks are going to be that much harder to construct.
Your top end of white seems to be missing a few things, notably Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Iona, Shield of Emeria, and maybe Storm Herd.
Blue: Archaeomancer is better than Mnemonic Wall IMO, being cheaper and capable of carrying equipment, plus having more relevant types.
I see a distinct lack of clones here. You've got Phantasmal Image and Rite of Replication, but no Sakashima, the Impostor, Sakashima's Student, Phyrexian Metamorph, Vesuvan Shapeshifter, etc. I'd consider adding 1-2 of these, as clones are one of blue's major strengths.
I also think you have a few too many planeswalkers in this color (and you're not even running one of the best, Tezzeret the Seeker). I don't think all three Jaces are necessary. Jace 1 is probably the best here, JtMS and JAoT are generally a one-shot draw effect followed by a swift death.
Black:
I like your black section quite a bit. I might cut down on the Pox cards a little bit, as those can be pretty oppressive. Also, LotDR is probably the third or fourth black PW I'd consider, after Sorin Markov, Liliana 1, and maybe Liliana 2.
Red: Gamble and Imperial Recruiter would help a lot with red's lack of tutors. I'd also add Wheel of Fortune and Wheel of Fate, draw sevens are insane in red. Chandra 1 and 3 are questionable at best and can easily come out.
I'd consider if you really want to be running this much LD. Especially when it comes to full wipes like Jokulhaups, they do a really good job of making games miserable and long. Consider instead running some damage-based sweepers like Starstorm, Earthquake, Rolling Earthquake, Pyrohemia, etc.
Guild:
I assume it's budget keeping you on Guildgates, Karoos, and Painlands over Shocks, Fetches, and ABU Duals? You might consider cutting one of your lands per pair, as you're running as many as I am at 600 + generals (on the other hand you have almost no 5c fixing, so maybe not). Your card choices here are alright, though I'm not sure what I think about Rosheen Meanderer and Sygg, River Cutthroat.
Artifact: Painter's Servant seems questionable with no Iona in the cube, especially as you aren't running Oona, Queen of the Fae either. He's really only going to do anything with Teysa, Savra, and maybe Momir.
Oh, here's Phyrexian Metamorph. Again, by color identity rules, this is a Blue card.
Stax and Tax artifacts might lead again to some boring and unfun play, especially as they seem to come at the expense of mana rocks, which slows decks down even more.
Personally, I'd run a few more rocks at the 2 and 3 cmc slots instead, things like Felwar Stone, Mind Stone, Darksteel Ingot. Mana Crypt is insane if you can find one.
I like the better Swords (Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Fire and Ice, Sword of Light and Shadow) over the Kaldra set, but obviously the pricetag might be an issue there.
Your Utility Lands section is definitely small, especially given it contains exactly 0 mana fixing lands like Command Tower or City of Brass.

Woah! Thanks for all that Wildfire, you have actually hit on a few things I was wondering myself.
I had a feeling Extort didn't affect colour identity due to the symbol being in the reminder text but magiccards.info disagreed when I searched for the ghast with black only idenity. Good spot on the metamorph, not played EDH in ages and I classify phyrexian mana as colourless in my regular cube (except the Green heavy Mimic Vat).
Some of my weirder card choices were because I was trying to at least start this cube off with as many of my spare cards as possible which leads to some less efficient picks. Also I sometimes just wanna try out oddball cards like Rosheen.
With such a small cube by comparison I cut a few staples if I felt they were a bit odd, serra ascendant was one of these since it paints such a huge target on you. but I maybe swap it for Emeria since you are correct in it not being likely to work very often. I like storm herd but totally forgot about it, a friend of mine played with Iona in a mono white angel deck and hated it since it just screwed one person over normally or made him a huge target, I've got one so can at least try it out for a bit.
I've removed Sakashima's Student from my other cube with the intention of it going into this one already. Good point on the clones, can definitely add a few more, I really like them too but didn't want to overdo it.
I'll have another look over the black section, maybe all the mass sac is too good. I'm not that Keen on Sorin Markov as the 2nd ability is a bit harsh in my opinion (despite having been hit with it to not very much effect once).
Will look to change red about a bit maybe, it's aways a trying colour for EDH.
More ramp needed in green? Fair enough, I'll look at the balance of things again.
The lands I'm runnning are due to budget constraints since I got a playset of fetches and shocks for my regular cube and proxy the ABU duals. Also I don't feel that these lands are necessary in EDH having only ever used them on Cockatrice and not seeing that much difference due to the format's speed.

I think you need to reclassify crypt ghast as an orzhov card. The extort cost unfortunately thrusts it into the W/B color identity.

Thanks for the look over. I wasn't thinking about the Extort cost when putting the list together as I was just searching by colour.
I can't remember who, but one of the EDH cuber employs a less strict rule regarding colour identity and allows the use of hybrid cards in half mis-matched colours. I was considering allowing the same for added flexibility.
Even If I don't I might allow the ghast as a mono-black card, will have to think about it.
Might take a while to put this cube together as I've made some other purchases recently so need to clear the bills first. Will definitely update with play info once the cubes underway.

Also just looking at generals, I see a glaring lack of Maelstrom Wanderer, who is hands-down the best choice for URG. I'd also consider Ruhan of the Fomorii over Zedruu the Greathearted. Your other general choices are largely similar to mine.

Generals:
I dislike Ulasht, the Hate Seed, and was only running him until something better came along. I believe that Borborygmos Enraged is that something better. Maybe you've had better experience with Ulasht than I have, but no one seemed to like him very much.
I find Momir Vig, Simic Visionary to be clunky and awkward. Edric, Spymaster of Trest isn't amazing without 1cmc creature support, but he does fare better than Vig does, at least in my opinion (and Theogony IX will back me up here if he shows up)
Rith, the Awakener is another very clunky dude. I love Hazezon Tamar infinitely more in this slot; He was also like my third EDH general ever built, but even discounting that influence on me he's a lot better for token decks.
White:
Serra Ascendant is notably absent. Is this because you don't like his effect in EDH? I realize he is very over the curve, but white needs a lot of help IMO.
In a smaller cube like this, i would likely stray away from Emeria, the Sky Ruin, as monocolored decks are going to be that much harder to construct.
Your top end of white seems to be missing a few things, notably Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Iona, Shield of Emeria, and maybe Storm Herd.
Blue:
Archaeomancer is better than Mnemonic Wall IMO, being cheaper and capable of carrying equipment, plus having more relevant types.
I see a distinct lack of clones here. You've got Phantasmal Image and Rite of Replication, but no Sakashima, the Impostor, Sakashima's Student, Phyrexian Metamorph, Vesuvan Shapeshifter, etc. I'd consider adding 1-2 of these, as clones are one of blue's major strengths.
I also think you have a few too many planeswalkers in this color (and you're not even running one of the best, Tezzeret the Seeker). I don't think all three Jaces are necessary. Jace 1 is probably the best here, JtMS and JAoT are generally a one-shot draw effect followed by a swift death.
Black:
I like your black section quite a bit. I might cut down on the Pox cards a little bit, as those can be pretty oppressive. Also, LotDR is probably the third or fourth black PW I'd consider, after Sorin Markov, Liliana 1, and maybe Liliana 2.
Red:
Gamble and Imperial Recruiter would help a lot with red's lack of tutors. I'd also add Wheel of Fortune and Wheel of Fate, draw sevens are insane in red. Chandra 1 and 3 are questionable at best and can easily come out.
I'd consider if you really want to be running this much LD. Especially when it comes to full wipes like Jokulhaups, they do a really good job of making games miserable and long. Consider instead running some damage-based sweepers like Starstorm, Earthquake, Rolling Earthquake, Pyrohemia, etc.
Green:
I feel like your ramp is lacking a bit here. I like the two-mana ramp spells like Nature's Lore, Farseek, Rampant Growth, Explore, etc. You're also only running one of the four search-two effects (Skyshroud Claim, Hunting Wilds, and Ranger's Path are the other three).
All Suns' Dawn seems pretty weak when it's only going to be getting back 2 or 3 cards. Try Restock instead?
Garruk Relentless unfortunately is GB by the Rules Committee's rulings.
You might consider a few more tutors like Green Sun's Zenith, Chord of Calling, Natural Order, Tooth and Nail, etc.
Guild:
I assume it's budget keeping you on Guildgates, Karoos, and Painlands over Shocks, Fetches, and ABU Duals? You might consider cutting one of your lands per pair, as you're running as many as I am at 600 + generals (on the other hand you have almost no 5c fixing, so maybe not). Your card choices here are alright, though I'm not sure what I think about Rosheen Meanderer and Sygg, River Cutthroat.
Artifact:
Painter's Servant seems questionable with no Iona in the cube, especially as you aren't running Oona, Queen of the Fae either. He's really only going to do anything with Teysa, Savra, and maybe Momir.
Oh, here's Phyrexian Metamorph. Again, by color identity rules, this is a Blue card.
Stax and Tax artifacts might lead again to some boring and unfun play, especially as they seem to come at the expense of mana rocks, which slows decks down even more.
Personally, I'd run a few more rocks at the 2 and 3 cmc slots instead, things like Felwar Stone, Mind Stone, Darksteel Ingot. Mana Crypt is insane if you can find one.
I like the better Swords (Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Fire and Ice, Sword of Light and Shadow) over the Kaldra set, but obviously the pricetag might be an issue there.
Your Utility Lands section is definitely small, especially given it contains exactly 0 mana fixing lands like Command Tower or City of Brass.

I had a feeling Extort didn't affect colour identity due to the symbol being in the reminder text but magiccards.info disagreed when I searched for the ghast with black only idenity. Good spot on the metamorph, not played EDH in ages and I classify phyrexian mana as colourless in my regular cube (except the Green heavy Mimic Vat).
Some of my weirder card choices were because I was trying to at least start this cube off with as many of my spare cards as possible which leads to some less efficient picks. Also I sometimes just wanna try out oddball cards like Rosheen.
With such a small cube by comparison I cut a few staples if I felt they were a bit odd, serra ascendant was one of these since it paints such a huge target on you. but I maybe swap it for Emeria since you are correct in it not being likely to work very often. I like storm herd but totally forgot about it, a friend of mine played with Iona in a mono white angel deck and hated it since it just screwed one person over normally or made him a huge target, I've got one so can at least try it out for a bit.
I've removed Sakashima's Student from my other cube with the intention of it going into this one already. Good point on the clones, can definitely add a few more, I really like them too but didn't want to overdo it.
I'll have another look over the black section, maybe all the mass sac is too good. I'm not that Keen on Sorin Markov as the 2nd ability is a bit harsh in my opinion (despite having been hit with it to not very much effect once).
Will look to change red about a bit maybe, it's aways a trying colour for EDH.
More ramp needed in green? Fair enough, I'll look at the balance of things again.
The lands I'm runnning are due to budget constraints since I got a playset of fetches and shocks for my regular cube and proxy the ABU duals. Also I don't feel that these lands are necessary in EDH having only ever used them on Cockatrice and not seeing that much difference due to the format's speed.
Good point on the lack of mana rocks, I was considring cutting things like trinisphere anyway as they would probably be seen as irritating and then never played.
Once again, many thanks to everyone helping me out with this. Will have a 2nd draft maybe sometime next week or I may hold off until I'm offshore again since I always have time to kill.
