PS: I have a Griselbrand on the way. Black cuts are brutal these days because black supports quite a few different decks. I'm thinking of cutting Curse of Shallow Graves.
I would make this change (if you haven't already -- I see now your comment is 2 weeks old). Curse is a fine card, but man, Griselbrand is a house.
Yeah, Griselbrand is in. Trying to get a Dragonlord Atarka now.
On the Moxen question...man, I just don't know. I'd probably be cutting power if I cut Moxen so I'd have to cut Lotus, Library, Sol Ring, and Crypt among other cards. I would likely look for more cheap artifacts if I wanted to keep Tinker viable. If not, then it could be five artifacts or mono cards depending on what I could find. Sorry that is kind of a rambling non-answer.
I can't speak for rant, but personally if I cut power ramp from my colorless section, I'd replace those cards with other, less powerful, ramp spells. I might consider adding in some or all of the Signets to that section in that case. There's also Chrome Mox, which I'm not currently running. I think I'd want the artifact deck to still try to be a thing and if that's the case, then you need these types of cheap efficient artifacts to make it happen.
The haste on Swiftspear puts it a notch above Waif, imo, but I do like both.
I think Wild Dogs is quite terrible, even if you push green aggro. Green aggro decks happen often enough here and I haven't ran Wild Dogs in ages. It was a constant disappointment for me, so I'd definitely cut that over Wall of Blossoms. I'd probably run Wall of Blossoms at 360 because of what a solid utility creature it is. I goes in any green deck that's not aggro.
Finally making my Origins changes and plotting out a few small changes for when I next order cards. I don't think there's anything really controversial here. I still can't decide if I want to add Despoiler of Souls and Whirler Rogue. I can't really think of anything to cut for them, especially the Rogue.
I love this swap. I can't say enough about how surprisingly awesome the Doom Engine has been for us. It may be that we've just had ideal decks and combos for him, but he's impressed me since our first draft. There are just so many ways to abuse him.
Sad to see Trike go, so many ways to abuse that creature (and growing).
I know, but Trike has been riding boards a lot and I wanted to give the Doom Engine a try. My other thought was to cut Molten-Tail Masticore but I was concerned about the number of high cc artifacts.
I found that my creature-heavy decks were loaded for bear at the 4cc slot, but that a lot of midrange/control/archetype decks had a slot available for a bigger threat they had synergy with. Particularly decks featuring Recruiter/Alesha/'Lark, etc. But I have an unnatural love for Trike (even more after watching it do well in Vintage lately) and am always actively finding excuses to maindeck it. But when I do, I'm always happy I did.
The four slot is pretty loaded. I think I'll do that instead. Shame. At one point I thought MtM was going to be the second best artifact creature in cube. Then, we just kept getting good 4-drops.
There's nothing wrong with MTM, it's a great card. We just don't need it as much as we did when it was first printed because the access to great 4cc creatures for creature-heavy decks is so much better than it was a number of years ago.
I want to add a 2-drop to black, so I'm not cutting Graverobber. I'm still not sure what to do about black's lack of good 2cc creatures. I look at the black cards and there's nothing I really want to cut to bring back Pain Seer and/or Dauthi Horror.
Greaves has been solid, especially in fatty cheating decks. I'm not looking to get rid of it. Sword of the Animist still hasn't been tested enough, but I added it because I've wanted to up the equipment count for a long time.
Powder Keg recently made a return because by the end of this block, I suspect I will be running 9 additional man-lands, plus tokens keep getting better and better. For now I'm keeping both.
Thanks for the input. I think I'll end up cutting Gilded Lotus, but I won't be cubing for a couple weeks so I have time to think about it.

I used to write for MTGS, including Cranial Insertion and cube articles. Good on you if you can find those after the upgrade.

In red, which 1-drop can I lose? I'm torn between Swiftspear and Waif. The card coming in for that spot is Goblin Glory Chaser.
What's the cut for Evolutionary Leap? I'm thinking it's Wall of Blossoms but that kinda makes me sad. Can green aggro live at this size without Wild Dogs when I'm going to be also cutting Kird Ape for Dragonlord Atarka?
Thanks!

It seemed the most similar card to Mystic Confluence and has been historically underdrafted by my playgroup. I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks. I'll mull over cutting Graverobber for one of these two.
