One day a few weeks ago I came across this list on the forums and the idea sounded pretty cool since some of my favourite cards are gold but they are not good enough to fit into the small guild sections (or non-existant shard section) of my powered cube. Additionally, I'm a fan of slower, grindy games which a heavy multicolour format should proved due to the affects of fixing your mana as to the game's tempo.
As such, I threw together a list, raided my spares box and my EDH decks and found that the remaining cards came to just under £100 so a week later the cube was built.
Unfortunately I then went away on holiday then back offshore so there are 2 freshly drafted decks sitting at home waiting to be tested. :-( The initial draft was interesting, not as difficult to draft as I originally expected with my wife settling into Naya tokens and me with a Dega (WBR) control deck. I must remember to fear the combination of Godsire and Populate...
Obviously as a first draft some of these cards will turn out to be terrible, I've already got the beginnings of an "on-deck" list. To try and smooth things out I'm considering bumping up to 450 cards by adding small mono-colour sections to help reinforce the themes between the colours.
