Hi everyone, I am currently crafting a small (360) Peasant cube inspired by ravnica's guilds. Obviously the archtypes will be more inspired by RTR block than the Original (due to accessibility, plus RTR is better designed IMO).
Now here is my problem: Since I have a very small cube, what single cards or mechanic is best to be able to support as much RTR guild's archtypes as possible?
Here let me start with an example:
For Black, two of the cards I am putting will be: Raven's Crime, Syphon Life - retrace works well with Dredge, turns Lands into Extorts, and may help Hellbent (lesser extent) by dropping lands.
For white, I will be putting a few blink effects to protect creatures enabling Batallion, plus it combines well with Detain(:azorius:) and token producing ETB effects.
Any mechanic, or even a single card will do. Thanks in advance!

Selesnya: Travel Preparations - Very in flavor with Selesnyan pilgrimages. Thrill of the Hunt is a big beating too, and I prefer it more than Travel Prep because of the potentially for blowouts.
Orzhov: Lingering Souls - Is there a more "Orzhovian" card? It might just be straight up better than every other card in the cube though. Also consider Zealous Persecution.
Boros: There isn't a great flashback card here, but maybe Burning Oil could make the cut. Goblin Legionnaire is awesome, but the only new-border version of the card is the FNM promo, if aesthetics are important to you.
Look for cards like Bramblewood Paragon, Oona's Blackguard, Sage of Fables, and Rage Forger, which interact positively with +1/+1 counters. Bloodthirst, Evolve, Scavenge, Unleash, and Graft, fully a quarter of the mechanics you have available to you, all deal with +1/+1 counters.

Dimir: Mystical Teachings - Similar effect as Transmute, and helps support non-mill Dimir by fetching things like Last Gasp. Recoil is also a beating.
I am not quite stable with my Dimir section yet, and will be most likely be defined by Rogues and Cipher (I know, this sucks) but I am thinkng putting in a heavy control theme, and Teachings is great in that. I think my Ajani vs Nicol Bolas Recoil can go here
Orzhov: Lingering Souls - Is there a more "Orzhovian" card? It might just be straight up better than every other card in the cube though. Also consider Zealous Persecution.
I think this is too powerful here; and does not help the bleed strategy much. Will consider for balancing purposes

. Yeah I pretty much gave up on Boros Flashbacks and Hybrids myself. I probably will leave this esction blank. No need to balance it perfectly.
Some thoughts of my own on "guildless" cards:

These are great finds!
Oona's blackguard's static ability helps Golgari and Rakdos, and its trigerred ability helps Dimir Rogues!
Similarly, Sage of Fables helps Simic obviously, and it helps Azorious and Dimir Wizards as well.
I think I will incorporate a very minor tribal theme in the cube, so I will bias towards the appropriate creature types (Rogue, Wizard, Warrior) from now on.
Thanks for the suggestions!
If space is tight, look for cards that easily fit multiple guilds.
Take Beast Attack: flashback helps with Golgari dredge, the token helps with Selesnya populate, and the instant speed helps with Simic evolve.
They might be hard to find, but they should be helpful.

Azorius: Momentary Blink - Combos with Voidwielder, Vedalken Dismisser, Gatecreeper Vine, all Detain, etc.
Dimir: Mystical Teachings - Similar effect as Transmute, and helps support non-mill Dimir by fetching things like Last Gasp. Recoil is also a beating.
Rakdos: Strangling Soot - Plays well with Hellbent, or you could go with Fires of Undeath, which is probably more in flavor. Can't forget Terminate.
Gruul: Wild Hunger - Awesome pump spell is awesome! Bloodbraid Elf as well?
Selesnya: Travel Preparations - Very in flavor with Selesnyan pilgrimages. Thrill of the Hunt is a big beating too, and I prefer it more than Travel Prep because of the potentially for blowouts.

Izzet: Desperate Ravings - Again, super in flavor! Fire/Ice is also super sweet. Kiln Fiend can pair up with Fluxcharger, Wee Dragonauts, and Nivix Cyclops for a great aggro/combo deck.
Golgari: Spider Spawning - Fits great with dredge and scavenge, also consider Wild Mongrel as a peasant Lotleth Troll. Putrid Leech is fun too.
Boros: There isn't a great flashback card here, but maybe Burning Oil could make the cut. Goblin Legionnaire is awesome, but the only new-border version of the card is the FNM promo, if aesthetics are important to you.
Simic: Tracker's Instincts is okay. Lorescale Coatl fits in the +1/+1 theme.

I will be including this, plus Flickerwisp if I can find one...

. Fire and Ice is perfect in flavor. Kiln fiend is in, though it works only for Izzet.
. Nice find! Fits well with dredge and Selesnyan token strategy! Better get me one of these...

Will probably fit in the Coatl for the +1/+1 theme as a Simic "bomb".
