Yeah, what the heck? That's terrible for a common. The paincast and regular cost should be switched. It should give you the spectacle effect for free and come with a cheaper cost if you can paincast it. Or at the very least not make it more expensive. But not this... strictly worse than monocolor cards from twenty years ago business.
IMO, automatically better than all but the Beetleform.
Weighing it against that one, I like the +0/+1 and Flying automatically. And the fact that it can only need pumped once and not tie up mana frequently makes it more valuable to me.

I think its fine, but almost sure I wont replace Frilled Oculus because of curve reasons. CC3 is always so stacked. Its better then the Krasis though.

But 4cc for 3/3 Haste + Trample or 4/4 trample is pretty solid. Another Cubeable. It can slot into any cube without feeling it is a build around. And if it is a Pack 1, I would prob double down on Gruul/X
Really like this one. Definitely cubable and T1 material for me. 4/4 for 4 is a solid baseline. Trample pushes it easily into cubable, let alone the pumpability and occasional haste. With some colorcheating moving Kird Ape into red, this might replace Ill-Tempered Cyclops
i never made is a strictly rule to my cubes and always shift the guildcards around a bit. As long as they arent striclty goldcards im fine putting them into monocolored sections. Overall powerlevel, manacurve or synergies are much higher priorities than slight imbalances in the guildslots.
im not too hot on your gruul 3rd place cards. gianbaiting is better on paper than in actual play. actually i think its pretty bad. branching bolt is really dependant on your cube meta. i can see it strong in cubes like yours that runs all those welking terns and stuff, in mine its underwhelming and even worse than the other deal 3 for 3, since it doesnt hit face. Only in magic christmas land it hits 2 targets.
depending how you colorfy it, granger guildmage is pretty high in the gruul section, since RG its basically its main mode. colossal might and ember weaver are my other slots.

I actually do agree with him. I don't think I would want more than one Chapel Geist in each color, and not at all in guildspace unless it's offering a significant bonus alongside. An overcosted onetime pump isn't it, unless you have a significant push for +1/+1 counters. I much prefer the Beetleform Mage's pump, which can be activated while still leaving you with leftover mana for other plays, while hitting harder too.
I also find myself agreeing on Shambleshark. It's an excellent ambusher at two mana and almost always attacks for three. It's a cut above, which is why I wouldn't put it in competition with our new contender.
Frenzied Arynx is great though. Spontaneous Artist is borderline playable already. Adding trample on a 3/3 for G is plenty good enough. And it is definitely not a combination that's ever been available on a monocolor card before.
Imperious Oligarch is much better than Loyal Cathar. In BW the manacost is slightly more reasonable and the big upside is that it produces a flying token. If anything Doomed Traveler shows, that this token can be quite reasonable and people where excited about Healer's Hawk lately, so. I dont think he is good enough to compete for a guildslot, but its not unplayable either.

Im not too hot on the Aeromunculus either, but the pump ability pushes it into cubable i guess. 3/4 flyer can be really annoying and it works with countermana.
Gruul powerlevel is in the middle I guess. Not too overpowered and defintiely room for improvement, but a solid bunch of cubables. Thats why the Frenzied Arynx is quite solid. The pumpability allows it to become a finisher in the lategame and as said a 4/4 trample for 4 is already good.

I really like the Riot ability. The creature is solid, even thought I don't think it's better than other Gruul cards.
