Recently binged watched LSV playing all kinds vintage decks on youtube and I gotta say I fell in love with gush and all the dirty shenanigans one can do with it
But when I looked at some recent decks - it seems plenty of decks still run gush but fastbond is missing in all of them except Doomsday.
What gives?
On a side note - everyone says vintage is this powerhouse and blah blah full of silly stuff blah blah but honestly it's the most enjoyable game to watch IMO
Coming from a legacy standpoint, it's like you fed legacy nothing but steroids and gunpowder and then let it loose in a gym

Here is the link to VSL decks (http://magic.wizards.com/en/MTGO/articles/archive/magic-online/vintage-super-league-decklists) and yes the 2 Doomsday decks are running Fastbond, the only deck with Gush is not running Fastbond, but it isn't running Green.
I don't think that Fastbond has gone out of style I just think you might be looking at a few decks with different builds.
Of course I could be wrong but Gush and Fastbond seem to work together solidly and I don't think Mental Misstep is hurting Fastbond that much.
