Are you aware of the deck Cherrios? That wins with Kobolds. It also dips into a combo of Multani's Presence and Chalice of the Void so you play a 0 Drop, it gets countered, you draw a card and then profit in whatever fashion you see fit once you've drawn a ton of cards. Likely a Storm situation.

I have never heard of this! sounds very cool. I admit I'm an utter noob with newer cards, but I played 24/7 when I was a kid. Just rediscovered it, so current deck archetypes are sometimes a mystery to me. Thanks for your help!
Also, as is said a lot in the Vintage forum, Vintage is home to some real power house decks. You could easily play this in Legacy and stand a better chance, even just by a little.
Also, Fog Bank and Urza's Bauble could be much better card draw like Gitaxian Probe and/or Street Wraith. This deck just needs to be able to grab that Curio ASAP.

You are definitely on the right track the cards you need to consider are Culling the Weak and Ad Nauseum for drawing cards and producing mana to do whatever.
Please note that I am not advocating any of the decks above, simply supplying them as ideas as some of them may not be budget, some may have illegal card counts (such as 4 Lotus Petal) or simply have different win conditions/goals/methods.
Thanks! This is a much more practical way of getting combo. I have reworked the thing into a cheerios deck, again thx to herbert west for pointing me in the direction of the modern usage of kobolds.
The as nauseum angle is very interesting too! I have not yet studied it, but intend to.
