Something I'm working on.
I dropped the Dark Confidants as a total joke of late while testing and tossed in the card known as Wu Spy. I noticed his ability was quite useful when dumping a Dragon into the YARD as an effect {it can happen}...but on the very same turn animating the dragon gave me a instant kill.
Note if your opp can't be targeted by spells or abilities then just mill yourself until results look par. I can't even express how cool this creature's, and I'm sure glad they're getting harder and harder to find {noone has them on FeeBay....and shops are selling out fast} because this combo is a pretty sick treat...who would want to face this all the time.
Wu Spy {and the creature actually helps the deck with its ability}
Testing and showing results with Time Vault/Voltaic Key combo as a sneaky auto win to get my opp on their game of my org goal of going Dragon!
i've always felt that shivan hellkite was a better finisher than oona, just because it answers platinum angel (which is vary rarely run, yes, but nonetheless some decks do run it).
ive always been under the impression that bazaar is the key to winning, i don't think you can cut one, unless you run crop rotation, and even then, you prolly want to jump up to 4x anyways, prolly cut another fetch or a sea.
you also should try and fit one more bounce spell md, maybe something like rebuild or recall rather than targeted bounce.
if you fit a one-of witness in, you can go infi and not be afraid that your opponent will be able to win out from underneath you, considering you can animate dead her then bring back narcomancy or another animate dead and recast it.
pact of negation is also a valid card to run, prolly not over fow, but in addition to help protect your combo, at worst, its fow fodder

I always thought Kumano, Master Yamabushi was generally viewed to be superior to Shivan Hellkite with a slightly lower casting cost and it's exiling ability.
Thanks for the comments members. Sadly I'm not running the Red, and I dropped the green.
I'm sharing a test idea with the site. I have been using Wu Spy of late with amazing results from the synergy he provides.
Now the mold can be alt if needed, but I'm going to try my hardest to stay with this concept until I know it's solid or not....so far this combo has be lethal!
Multi/games I have resolved and had fruitful results from the Wu Spy, all while going off with a animate spells to win from the Spys infi ability on the same turn.
Fun times, with more to come.

I like the Wu Spy, but I am not sure how great it is in comparison to Mulldrifter, or even Drowned Rusalka. I guess the Wu Spy gives you an immediate discard, allows you to filter your draw somewhat, fills your graveyard, costs less mana to cast and to activate. All valid vintage qualities. Intriguing but I am not enough of a guru to know if this is a diamond or just maybe an alternative build.
i think it was an alternative build that has potential of being competitive. But I guess I wonder why you don't just run 4 entomb?
I tried the Entombs, but I just feel that card is better suited right now in Legacy then in vintage seeing Bazaars are doing the trick at the current moment with regards to fueling the gy.
You animate the Wu Spy, and when it is in the Dragon loop it can put your Library into your graveyard for full use.
Correct bud! I can either mill my opp or just dig deep for the oona if in some way I can't target them....so far I haven't faced a rogue deck that has stop me with some sort of "I can't be target by spells or abilities on turns 1-2" as of yet.
The Wu Spy's have been very sick. I'm giving up the tempo with Bob's and taking the direct route with the spys seeing they can kill outright and BOBs can't {trade 2 slot for a 2 slot...and the Wu can be pitched to a FoW if needed} quite do that.
So far this mold has been clean and simple with just a few tweaks that are still in order via testing.
I'm still in shock that dragon isn't in the competitive area of the site after seeing this!
Hey Case if you want some workstation on this deck let me know;) It's very competitive at this test stage, and only a deck with tons of SB hate will walk on it as I've seen. I know a mage prepared for Dredge that faces this won't have the same kind of results {jailers ect} seeing the deck doesn't need just the GY to win.
This is the first time I've really ever attempted to play dragon, and I must come clean on the topic.........it's a very fun and ruthless archtype. It surely has it cons, but so far the pros seem worth staying with it.
S.M.
I'm just wondering what the Yawg Will is in there for. I mean, I understand the merits of
Y-Will but have you ever had it in your opening hand and found it to be dead until you started drawing into tutors, recall, etc.
I'm running a similar version using Gifts Ungiven and Ponder. The ponder is just a way to filter early draws but the gifts gives the the option of a potential instant speed win. (best case scenario Bazaar, Dragon, RtR, Tinker). I'm just wondering how well careful study has done for you.
One more thing I've noticed while playing this version of gorger is that without bob's tempo you can tend to end up goldfishing for several turns hoping to draw into the right spells. Has that problem ever come up for you or am I just the vintage black sheep in my meta.
