Well my initial reply was that the future will hold Blightsteel Colussus and Shallow Grave in reanimator decks, but then I realized we were dealing with the same clause as Darksteel about shuffling. With that said I seem to fall back onto the same reply that I have used in the past for reanimation decks, in Vintage you can reanimate (read Animate Dead) Worldgorger and create infinite mana, this seems superior to trying to use the attack phase and get a big, bad fatty thru some chumping usually over several turns. So I guess I think Worldgorger is superior to most reanimation strategies, but because of the high level of graveyard hate it is reduced to a less successful strategy. This applies to any reanimation deck. With that said reanimation/Worldgorger decks suffer additionally from being vulnerable to creature removal, and with the better quality of creatures being produced and the upswing in creatures getting played (Hello Lotus Cobra) - we are seeing more creature removal getting added to Vintage decks.
With all that said, I do like the synergy that exists with Shallow Grave, Haste, Sacrifices and It that Betrays, but it would take double the reanimation to win with a strategy like that.
well, this deck doesn't function the same way Dragon does. for one, dragon needs a bazaar or oona already in the grave meaning you need 3 cards to win. and it takes multiple turns to do that. churning out iona or it that betrays on turn one pretty much tell most decks, if you don't cast removal i win. not having haste is a downside, but oath deals with that fine(seeing an KJ oath has fallen out of style)
another way to take this could be using emrakul in conjunction with goryo's vengeance and shallow grave. the problem still stands that emrakul has only 15 power(yes... only...) but it does still pretty uch rath you'r opponents field
