Hey, looking for some help. Im running a vintage control deck around 4 isochron scepters, deck is listed below. Trying to decide if i should keep green in this, only running it for the BOP's, so that if i dont get one of 4 Isochron I can still cast these other spells. Let me know what you think
How do you expect to play Force of Will in the deck. 10 Blue cards isnt enough. I think the number is around 15+ blue cards, to support force.
Also, how do you answer Null Rod? A deck based around instants should have Mystical Tutor in it.
Finally, I moved your thread and added deck tags. I would have put this in budget, but your running two moxen so it doesnt seem like your going for a budget here. If not, I would suggest adding Black Lotus and Ancestral Recall.
I am guessing you are old school because you are using Morphling as a finisher, and using Serra's as critters. Consider using Tarmogoyf for you beatdown engine of choice as they are much cheaper to cast and probably bigger, Serra's evasion & vigilance matters little in Vintage and Morphling is slow and mana intensive.
Noble Hierarch is probably straight up better then BoP's in your deck. Admittedly they would produce the double black for your Geth's but to cast your Geths you need to have 2 out of your 4 birds in play. I think the Geth's are awful in this build, you are never going to cast them and there are so many other better pieces of creature control - Swords, Path & Oblivion Ring are all things to consider if you must play creature control.
Cold-Eyed Selkie for some card draw? Mana Drain better then Counterspell, again since urweak asked about budget and you didn't respond, I am guessing you don't own these cards or don't wish to purchase but if you are proxying then consider these.
If you are proxying - Ancestral & Lotus should be in.
Ok so I took out the raise the alarms and put in a merchant scroll and vampiric tutor, replaced the geth's verdict with two diabolic edicts, replaced the 2 dawn charms with demonic tutor and redirect. I also took out one of the forests and added a swamp, which will soon be replaced by underground sea. I took out one serra angel and added in day of judgment for creature control. I dont worry too much about budget, but do not have funds right away for black lotus or the mana drains, but will get the drains asap. I dont really see how the black lotus will improve the deck that much... three mana is great but its such a multicolor deck that the cost may outweigh the end result.
I also added in temporal adept to bounce anything i may not like (insert null rod here) and added in a naturalize.
Sidequestion- how do I do deck tags and make the cards a blue hyperlink?

Well..
1. Isochron Scepter doesn't see much play in vintage for the following reasons:
a. lots of decks play hate like Null Rod/Pithing Needle and destruction like Ancient Grudge and Natures Claim.
b. it's too slow at 4 mana to cast and activate in one fell swoop in addition to needing the RIGHT card in hand to put on it that's appropriate for the situation(which you may or may not be holding), AND it gets removed from the game.
That being said you need as much fast mana as possible. Mana Crypt is impossible to omit from any vintage deck built around Scepter.
May I suggest a build more like the following:

I think the deck looks good for the most part, I run a blue/green with a similiar idea. I'm running fog/holy day effects in mine, but more importantly I really like Memory Lapse on my sticks, it's a great soft lock on an opponent, and since you're not running all that many blue cards to make Force truly worth while it's a great cheap alternative.
It wouldn't hurt you to put in some tutors (mystical and enlightened) either.
No one spoke. There was no need. The threat of the Eldrazi presented a simple choice: lay down your arms and die for nothing, or hold them fast and die for something.

I guess there wouldnt be much of a response to null rod, except for the two hide/seeks. (if they would get it out)
So should I take out the green cards and replace? or do the bops fit in this deck?

Raise the Alarm seems very weak.

Comments on the changes to the deck?
