Forcing both players into topdecking ASAP can win games.
2/1s can win games. First Strike? you beat half the guys in the format...
There is very few creature point removal.
With this in mind, I built a deck a while ago and started testing it. It actually does well but I guess it could use lots of improvement. The basis is a very old MBC list, to which I added a splash and the Depths combo and fiddled with the numbers.
The idea is to take apart their hand, then start stacking up your own hand and keep their board and hand clear.
Or you just go off and make a big Marit Lage Token which can only be handled by JTMS and about 1 card in every non-U deck. It is unwise to wait with making the Token unless you have a Wasteland because of opponents wastelands.
Matchups:
Regular Control decks (Counterspells): you have a clear advantage vs Control due to looots of discard. Favourable.
Regular Aggro/Tempo decks: this is about you assembling and protecting the combo ASAP. Win rate heavily depends on their build. Blood Moon means trouble.
Dredge: lose G1 under normal circumstances (non-godhand). G2+3 are all about you having the hate and discard to protect it.
MUD: Die roll wins.
Combo: If you get to have a first turn twice, you probably win.
Hate Bears: You probably lose. Deal with it.
Any help or suggestions are welcome. I will not change colors.
My one suggestion would be for a couple more Thoughtseize to increase your incidence of turn one discard. I'm also not sure how you're putting opponents into topdeck mode with just 5x 1cmc Discard, 1x Twist, and 2x Liliana.

I'd suggest adding both more Thespian's Stage and more Urborg. Flip the numbers on Thoughtseize and Duress, and probably add at least 1 more Duress to it.
I'm not sure why you're running snow-covered lands. Dark Depths decks usually only run snow-covered basics if they're tutoring for Dark Depths with Into the North.
You can probably drop down to 1x Grim Discovery.
Necropotence is a good card but not amazing here when you can't put 2 lands into play in one turn. Either add Fastbond or cut Necropotence.
Dark Ritual is similarly awkwardly positioned, and one of the main reasons to run it is for Necropotence. If you drop Necro you can drop the Rituals. If you drop Rituals I'd put Pithing Needles in their place.
Thanks for the input.
-The SB didn't show up in the post, fixed that.
-Flipping discard numbers might be the way to go. I was afraid of losing too much life between all those lifeloss cards. I'll test it and watch my life totals in MUs where it matters.
-I really like Rituals in Turn 1+2. Ritual>Discard>Bob/Hexmage/another discard if need be, or >Liliana, >Necro, or T2 Ritual>Mind Twist are really strong plays. I usually board them out vs Matchups where I always get a Turn 2/3.
-If I run more Thespian's, I get an even slower deck (and an even more horrible mana base. for 1 color splashing 1 other, this is as fragile as it gets). I'm not sure that's the way to go. I'll test 1 more of Thespians+Urborg, but that seems like the upper bound.
