Lotus Petal is restricted in Vintage. You are only allowed 1 copy. You could play 3 Chrome Mox instead. Or Simian Spirit Guide (effectively the same as Lotus Petal, except you can actually cast/Vial in topdecked copies, so it's even better).
A few points:
1) you have too few mana sources for Vial Goblins to work as it's supposed to
2) you have too few maindeck Goblin cards for stuff like Goblin Ringleader to work well
3) how much Dredge is in your meta? you probably don't need the Leylines maindeck, just in SB
4) Wasteland and Strip Mine? LD is a big part of the disruptive engine. Also, Vintage lands are broken.
5) where are Black Lotus and Mox Ruby? If you don't have them, then your deck wants 4 Null Rod (and then no Chrome Mox obviously) instead of Thorn
6) If you do want the Thorn effect maindeck, you should just splash white for Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
See the Legacy Vial Goblins thread for examples on how to make the shell run smoothly, including considerations like curve, Goblin count, core engine cards, strategym etc. Then just remember that in Vintage you probably want to tweak that sort of list to have:
-4 Null Rod
-1 Goblin Recruiter (because you can)
-cheap artifact kill (Tin-Street is good... maybe a singleton Goblin Tinkerer too)
-less creature kill than Legacy (your 2 Stingscourger + 1 Gempalm looks good)
My LGS is pretty dredge heavy when Im playing Legacy. I have no clue if that permeates to Vintage as well. Ill leave LOV in the SB for now. I opted for Goblin Grenade, though Im not sure how competitive it is. I figure its a pretty aggressive win card in situations where I just fall short of killing off my opponent with CD. Again, not sure if that is relevant in Vintage.
I should also note that although I have a pretty loose budget, its not loose enough to incorporate power-9 cards.
Your list looks decent other then the Goblin Grenades and would add Cavern of Souls.
A friend of mine played Goblins in Vintage Champs last year and placed in the Unpowered Prize Category. Have to ask for a list.
I like splashing white for Thalia and side board cards like Containment Priest versus Oath/Dredge and Rest In Peace. I dislike Leylines because they have to be in your opening hand. Although this might be difficult if you want black for Earwig Squads. Grafdigger's Cage is useful against both Oath and Dredge although Containment Priest is best since it nerfs both Oath, Show and Tell and Dredge. You should have 6 slots devoted to dredge because you need to draw dredge hate.
I think you actually want Tar fires to kill Monastery Mentor/Young Pyromancer. You can actually get raced by the tokens.
Cavern of Souls to name Goblin so your Goblins don't get countered is good.
Goblin Grenade is also not worth it because it gets hit by Mental Misstep and you lose a goblin in the process. Replace with Tarfire.
Yeah, no P9 is pretty common, that's fine. All I was saying is that decks without P9 should be running the Null Rod to level the playing field against decks that do (and stuff like Stax and Time Vault). You're running the rods now, so awesome!
New list looks better overall. Goblin Grenade is probably too much of a gamble to play. Goblins isn't really a suicide aggro deck. As suggested, Tarfire is probably better. It also raises your Goblins count to 31, which is where Ringleader starts becoming stupidly good.
Since you don't actually have the P9, maybe remove Black Lotus and Mox Ruby from your list and replace with Cavern of Souls? I'd try to cram in 4.
Thanks guys! I think the following is a little more rounded. I know it won't compete with a large swath of the Vintage decks in circulation, but it will have a rogue-ish aspect to it, and I like that
If you're expecting to see a lot of Dredge (and I think you're right to expect it, Legacy Dredge translates to Vintage Dredge fairly easily), you might want more than just the Leylines in the sideboard (although I agree that they belong in the sideboard). Ravenous Trap is a good option, and Grafdigger's Cage also works against Oath and Tinker. You may also benefit from Pulverize for the Shops matchup (Null Rod is fine against Shops but it's really more of a nuisance for them than a true game-winner. Shattering Spree falls prey to sphere effects and Chalice on 1 so I'm not sure if it's necessarily what you want in that matchup).
